Deathslinger Sense
So I can understand if he can thread an impossible needle, but why is he then able to drag his chain through walls and objects like they don't exist? If he shoots someone through a railing or a series of large boxes, why is he suddenly able to ghost his chain through it? That should be a punishment, in my opinion, if he shoots through something he cannot drag people through. His rifle already injures people if they break it, so I think it seems fair if he punishes him when he fires through bad objects.

I know it doesn't make much sense, but removing it would effectively destroy this killer.

You're talking about it not being realistic, and therefore, unfair, why should Deathslinger not instantly get a health state for shooting a harpoon into someone? Why doesn't he drag the survivor over the pallets? Why isn't the survivor punished for not knowing about the small angles DS can shoot through? Shouldn't that be punished?
No, I don't want this, I'm pointing out how silly this sounds.

If you hit someone in the head with a harpoon... why aren't they dead?
How can people recover in 16 seconds from being hanged on a meat hook?
How can people run at full speed after stepping on a bear trap?
answer... it's a game.

No. You're trying to nerf a C tier killer.

Simple Answer: You're in the Entity's realm, things are supernatural. A lot of things happen in the Entity's realm that didn't happen in their home worlds.

So true ! It's such a supernatural

Actually, he's around upper B tier to lower A tier if you master him.
I'm not saying that that justifies a nerf, though. Just correcting you for the sake of it.

Theres a killer thats able to go invisible for 5 years and THIS has you baffled? Not the giant spider legs that come out of the sky. Not the giant demon samuri that can run at ridiculous speeds, not the ability for a person that was just strung up on a meat hook to get off, rib their legs a little and be just fine, none of that. No. This is it. This is the thing that baffles you

I think he'll always be C tier. And I do really well with him.

Let's agree to disagree, then.
I won't try to "correct" you on this topic using my opinion as truth.

Alright. By the way, I'll give my reasoning so that you can understand my line of thinking.
Slinger has good chase, but he's also 4.4. He's hard countered by holding W while others do gens. If you see him coming, three gens will almost definitely be done by the end of that chase.

... I can "C" your point there.

I mean there's a flip side to this.
Deathslinger uses Line of Sight blockers and Tinkerer to get close enough to M1 you before you can get to anything safe. Then because he's got STBFL and a gun, he can shoot you, reel you, and down you before you can make any distance.
Sure, he's weak if you see him coming from a mile away. If you don't he can be absolutely brutal.

This is true. However, I personally see him far more often than I don't.

If you're complaining about the realism, then like the other guy already said, "it's a game."
If you're complaining about the balance, I do think survivors should have more pull over how they get dragged. Often times, it just feels like you're going straight into him. Even in times where I get shot with a piece of debris to my left that I want to drag myself over to, I can't even put myself enough to the side to get behind it by the time he starts dragging me. It's one thing if he spears me from like 4 meters away, because I'm already doomed at that point. Just at least when he shoots you at like 15 meters or something, you should be able to have a chance to put something between you and him. At this point, it doesn't feel like "struggling" as much as just letting him drag me in.
