Possible Counterforce Bug?

I’m running Counterforce to get a totem cleansing challenge done and it feels like the speed boost that you get from cleansing totem is not applying. I could just be me but it feels like it’s not speeding up at all. I’m putting this thread in discussions since I’m not sure if it’s an actual bug so if people can look into this, I greatly appreciate it since I want to use this perk more often.

    It’s working. It’s just that 20% of 14 seconds isn’t a massive reduction in cleansing time.

    nah its working its just you 20% faster only shaves off 2.8 seconds of the total 14 meaning you cleanse it in 11.2 seconds instead of 14

    Not quite.

    It doesn't reduce the time to cleanse a totem by 20%, it increases your cleansing speed by 20%.

    You start out with a 20% speed boost, which results in a 11.6 second cleanse, and finish with a 100% speed boost, resulting in a 7 second cleanse.

    Honestly I wish they use tokens so that there’s a visual to show that the perk is working but that’s just me. I feel like maybe some like actually scientific testing should go into if anyone wants to.

    I'm pretty sure you yourself have to break the totems. Maybe it just doesn't seem like enough speed since you aren't getting all the totems? Though, I'm assuming you would have broken totems before trying to test for quicker speeds, so I'm not sure beyond that.

    my bad dude. I just assumed total time to cleanse would be the same as cleansing speed
