The Fog is a black darkness that can be applied, limiting the view of whoever has the fog around them, making everything black after a certain amount of range. The are also effected by the Oblivious effect.

When a survivor is hit while the Fog effect is applied, it goes away.

The fog disperses after 30 Seconds, but pauses in chase.

The Ripper can call upon the entity to summon fog crowding areas like a trap. When a survivor walks into the fog they are surrounded by the fog.

-Fog Port

In parts of the map there are dark areas. The Ripper can teleport between these RNG marked based locations.

The survivors can run through it, but the fog effect will be applied. They can make the Fog disperse with a flashlight, but the fog will appear in a different area.

-When standing still for 3 seconds you can see the aura of all survivors further from (60m/54m/46m).

-When stunning the killer your run speed is increased to 150% for 5 Seconds. Causes the exhaustion effect for 60/50/40 Seconds.

-When completing a co-op action, you can see the killers aura for 3/4/5 Seconds.
