Good idea to prestige while the event is happening?
I want to prestige David someday and now I I'm thinking if it's better to level up a lvl 50 survivor or leveling up a survivor from lvl 1
In which case will I get more cakes and event items?

If you really want to prestige a character, the best time will be during the anniversary event.
But do be aware that the only thing you get for doing it is a bloody outfit. And level 1 to 50 takes about 1.2-1.3 ish million blood points, and to get all perks maxed you will require a lot more. Additionally each level of the blood web will also become more expensive at prestige 3 than no prestige at all since you get more rare nodes in the web.

I always like to prestige during the events, got 3 to p3 50 in the last anniversary one and another to p2 50. Granted 2 of the p3 ones were already P2 before prestiging them.

I think it's a pretty good time to prestige, because if you try to get them to lvl 50 again, they will accumulate plenty of cakes without even trying.

You better have a backup character to farm bloodpoints with, cause you lose everything on the prestige.
Starting from zero will be really hard, specially a higher ranks

I personally plan to prestige all my killers and maybe some survivors while I am at it. Pros are that its easier to get rare addons or better perks (plus the bloody outfits if you care about them) However the cons for me is that you just don't get to keep perks you already got if you prestige

It's the best time, yes.
1. You'll get more more bloodppint offerings which will help get more bloodppint.
2. You'll be getting more bloodppint which will get your prestiged character to higher levels faster (and better perks faster)
3. Bloodwebs will be cheaper. The offerings are typically 3k each. These, added to bloodweba, mean you'll be spending less on other worse offerings.

Actually no, its not a great time. Every bloodweb youre going to get cake, so if you take a character from level 1 to 50 spending cake the whole time youll probably have 25 to 30 cake, then you prestige and lose the cake.
A better thing to do is pick 3 or 4 killers you already have at p3 and grind out a few hundred cake on each, then after the event you can use tge cake to prestige them at your leisure.
If you have no killers at p3 then yeah maybe get 1 or 2 there and save the cake after that

I would disagree with this. If youre dumping points into a lvl 50 character for cakes it'll take a LOT more BP for cakes than if you just went 1 to 50 on a new character and then used their cakes (at leisure or not)

Before, because the anniversary items are lost each time you prestige. You want to be P3-1 once the event starts to get most of those anniversary items and offerings.

I didnt say to dump points into a level 50 character. I said if he didnt already have any then get a couple to p3 then save the cake on those characters

If you really wanna farm, go play lots of doctor with bbq equipped, you could 0k and still get around 30k with him

Prestiging was fine when there was only a handful of survivors and Killers, but now the grind has gotten out of control, and simply getting a bloodied outfit just isn't worth it.

Eh, it can be neat for licensed characters, if you don't want to spend money on slightly overpriced cosmetics.
