Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

So, facing a nurse, NOED is up, gate is one tap, teammate is hooked, i try to save him which ends with me dying aswell.

Im i a good teammate for not downright abandoning him or stupid for not just leaving with a NOED Nurse?

No one can blame you for leaving against NOED if you can't find the totem before the killer finds you or camps a teammate.

Yes its a big risk going in solo for a save against an insta down killer. Whether its Noed, Devour, Mikey, Bubba, Oni etc. In the case of Noed you have the ability to take it out if you can find it.

If not, and you're the only one there to save then best to just leave. Especially if the killer is proxy camping. If I was on the hook in that situation I would encourage my team mate to leave.

Both. It's possible to make the save, but far more likely she'll just feast on you both.

Sweet of you to make sure they didn't die alone, though.

I actually sacrificed myself once with Bill of all character and the guy managed to get away.

Another one which was kinda hilarious was against a facecamper and the other two survivors were there trying to bait a punch so i simply walk to them and drop a flashbang, im pretty confident i blinded the killer and both of them cause one of them ended up dying after the hook got saved lol.

It really depends on what type of player you are. If you play to win then the correct thing to do is to leave but if you just like having fun or are really selfless then unhooking would be the thing you could do.

Since there are no official "win conditions" I just like doing what Otzdarva does and if at least one person escapes through the exit gate I count that as the killer losing. I generally play to win so I would have just left but it's all on the player.

Trust me, I know how it goes. I try to do stupid crap all the time to save my friends from a hopeless situation. Sometimes it works and it's amazing. Sometimes we both die. But how awesome would it have been if you DID make the save?
