Anyone else's DBD makes their computer overheat / console sound like a launching rocket?
Just asking.
I ain't got no cooler or anything fancy, just a big ass fan in my laptop.

What about prior to the update ?
I've noticed a rise in temperature after the new update sure, but what about in general?
Edit: Typo

Before the update it'd be spicy but nothing drastic. Since the update my CPU decided that vibing in the 70s was no longer okay and maybe it should try out a solid 83°
(ive managed to get it back down to ~78 since thankfully).

jesus thats alot , although the ryzens can handle operating through most of the rnge on heavy load and it's fine for them. not sure on the more recent intels, but I assume modern cpus in general are fine in the 70s on high load. unless they're in a laptop/notebook but they'd get throttled to hell on those anyways.

I have a Ryzen 5 5600x which is cooled with a Corsair H100 AIO. When I launch DBD my temps peak at 65 degrees and settle at around 50 - 55 degrees in games.

It's a Ryzen 7 3700x so it's perfectly fine vibing until I hit like 90° at which point it dies horribly but yeah, it got stupidly warm

You know what's funny? This game can make my PC heat up more on Low settings than it did in my entire playthrough of Control with RTX enabled.

Btw, y'all are throwing temperatures around, but are you sure you're all talking about the same temperature scales? 😉

Taking Karu's number of 78 for example, we're all talking about Celsius
- In Fahrenheit, it would be ~172
- Kelvin, it would be ~351
Otherwise, the numbers would be way bigger....
For example, if we're talking about 78 in Fahrenheit & Kelvin...
- 78 Kelvin would result in NEGATIVE -195 degrees Celsius - lmao
- 78 Fahrenheit would be 25 degrees Celsius. 25* Celsis is by no means a high temperature :) .... At least for PCs
Edit: Damn you Typos

Yes. I have DBD on disc. It's always noisy on start-up, but recently it's got to the point where it's loud during matches too.

Just making sure y'all are sure. 😋

Nope!
For the record tho, I was referring to this:

I'm an old fart now, although dragonball is kinda old now too I guess I remember hearing about it while I was playing everquest even lol. But I never got around to watching it since I was never an anime person. I just remember a little guyver and 3x3 eye in the 90s along with liking cowboy bebop a lot. I have no understanding of dragonball references as a result lol.

I mean, can't fault you for liking Cowboy Bebop.

The initialisation screen is the worst
My ps4 sounds like its about to take off

Kinda, i'm a pc player, if the graphic is set to low, usually i have like 40/45 degree(50/54 ingame on some hevy maps), but if i switch to high or even medium, the temp ramp up to 60/58 just in the lobby... hek, the rendering is bad in this game.

Not one to resurrect a post... But is this problem STILL a thing?
My DBD still makes my Laptop reach new heights when it comes to temperature even with the cooler on.
Anyone else having these kinds of issues?
This game is literally going to break my parts.

DbD's loading screen has always made the fans on my PS4 loud, and it gets worse with each update. The problem has spread during the past year and occurs during regular matches due to the fog. Clown's bottles and spamming the glyphs can also make the fans go nuts.

I can't remember last time I booted up DBD and it didn't make my ps4 sound horrible. Any other game my ps4 is quiet.

It seems normal to me, I just have the gold ps4. My sister has the old black model and that sounds like a jet engine during Genshin Impact at times.

Yeah every time I launch DBD my cpu fan starts screaming at me that I have to go into a certain setting each time and stop it.

i have a feeling it might be down the the current climate, if you're living in the West it's Summer right now

Always tanks cpu and gpu to 95°C. Only problem is that the keyboard gets really hot to hold fingers on.

Usually my GPU and CPU temps rise up after windows/dbd update it seems. What I did is that I overclocked my GPU first with Afterburner curve and then undervolted my CPU through lower max CPU performance to 99% instead of 100 in control panel. I also don't use new NVIDIA drivers cause they increase my GPU temp (I have gtx1050, 2Gb, driver 452.06)
You can also use throttlestop to undervolt you CPU if possible. There was the time when my GPU and CPU temps were 80-90 and even more to the extent when I was in the menu my PC just shut down. Now due to actions described above I have 65-70 degrees during the game for both CPU and GPU. I have laptop and one fan too, btw, so these are quite good temps for me 😅
Sorry if it sounds obvious. It wasn't that obvious to me back then 😐
