SWF isn't overpowered
It just highlights how powerful survivors full potential is. As in gen speeds, and how good coordinated survivors can be. Solos can do the exact same things that SWFs can, and yet solo is generally regarded as the weakest role in the game.
Solo survivor should be survivors full potential.
So, they should just add comms to the game for everyone(not the killer 😂), and buff most killers. Instead of nerfing SWF, just buff everything else.

Solos can't do the exact same thing but they can do real well if they're good.
Adding coms and then balancing the game is the most obvious decision to make but BHVR likes to just pretend SWF has no advantage whatsoever.

True. I'm just saying what everyone else is.
It's not about SWF being overpowered, it's about how survivors at full potential are overpowered. This is just the most obvious choice here.

Adding comms would be just bad, because at that point you'll pretty much be pushed to constantly play over comms with strangers, or you will be one of the first reasons to blame that your team lost when it loses. And I sure won't play this game via comms with complete strangers. I don't need some mentally ill person screaming into my ear every second match. I'd rather get anal bleaching.
I do think people overvalue the power gap between swf and solo survivors, because matchmaking screws over solo survivors a lot.
But the best way to close the gap is to try and buff solo survivors with aura reading abilties and other information, such as base kit kindred or base kit totem counter, so they at least get close to the level of information that swf have. But even that has it's downsides.

I don’t get how this is a talking point. Friday the 13th used voice chat and it was fine. Just mute people who annoy you.

I feel like half the killer population would leave if they give survivors the ability to coordinate with voice chat, maybe just text chat or pings could do it. Plus I don't want to hear an angsty teenager yelling over my headphones with his squeaky voice while being looped by the killer.

Yep,solo survivor isn't actually bad.
Matchmaking issues is what makes everyone believe that solo queue is bad.1 bad and inexperienced teammate is enough to completely throw the game for the other survivors.

You'd have the option to mute if you don't want to talk.
Survivor is OP at it's full potential, but that isn't limited to SWF.

That is true. Every match would be like those 4-man SWF sweat squads if we had a proper MMR system. That's why we need to get one so that the devs can properly balance the game.

I would love to see them add spatial comms. You can only hear them within a certain radius however the killer can hear them as well. Sadly this community is so toxic that it would quickly be abused and i imagine is the reason bhvr hasn't added any comms.

swf aint nothin if you know what you doing. i see people proposing changes and everything, when the best thing to do is just spread the pallets out more and boom, no problem. they'll body block and maybe sabo hooks anyways, win for both sides.
but then again, i'm just built different.

Because you want the game to be balanced around comms, so by not wanting to play with some weirdos I'd put me and my team at a disadvantage again. We'd end up with a similar balance gap in the end. And killers could stomp survivors teams that don't want to use voice comms.

I they add comms to solo game I would stop playing DbD, at least as survivor.
I like play survivor soloq because the inmersion. Comms break inmersion.
I don't like even watch survivor streamers playing with comms. I see a lot of DbD streammers but only those that play soloq as survivors.
