Dead hard is such a dumb perk.
Oh I'm bad in looping? Just press E
Oh the pallett is out of reach? Just press E
Oh I messed up? Just press E
Why do perks exist in this game who rewards you for being bad?
Noed and dead hard should both not exist in a competitive game.

It is busted of course. Most people think they're good at chases, then they play a match without DH and see they weren't all that they think they are, this including myself. But then you think "Well I'm gonna play without it because I don't want to rely on a perk to be good", then you get frusted for being downed in situations where you think "If I had dead hard", and you can't stop using it.
This perk needs to have some work in order to use it.

Perk balance aside, Dead by Daylight is not a competitive game.

Dead Hard rewards players for being smart about it and wasting as much of killer's time at loops as possible. If survivor is bad, pressing E won't get them to safety, only to death. If killer lost the game or chace because of Dead Hard, it's because killer is bad, not survivor he goes against. Same goes for NOED - if killer gets to use it, it only indicates that survivors don't give a single damn about anything but gens. Their fault. Especially if killer somehow gets value out of it more than once.

Compared to sprint burst dead hard is fine

sprint burst at the very least requires some exhaustion management unless you want to walk everywhere. Dead hard is literally just "whoopsie daisy I made a mistake in chase. Good thing I have the E key". I am not saying sprint burst is weak, it is very strong, but dead hard is just so much easier to use for just as strong of an effect it's ridiculous

Can we really stop calling everything as having no skill. It's becoming really obnoxious how much people want to downplay the skill of others just so they can complain.
I get if you don't like dead hard, but a 0 hour player using dead hard isn't going to accomplish anything. Like it or not, there is a skill to good use of Dead Hard.

It can require hundreds of hours to get good with a single character, theyre trying to implement an mmr system, there are tournaments and 1v1s all over the place. How tf is it not competitive? 😂

Dead hard is fine, it doesn’t need a nerf and so doesn’t noed. Also since killers like deathslinger exist, dead hard is literally needed to have a chance.

Sprint burst is 100% stronger imo since you’ll never be in a dead zone when you have it. Plus it works better on insta down killers

Dead Hard requires timing to use properly. You can't just press a button, and then magically get away from the killer. Go ahead, try it as survivor. Just press e randomly, without any forethought or planning, and see how far it gets you.
