Key Outplayed Me
I was playing with Freddy today. After Nemesis released, i did not played with him so much. I miss my boi and i did back to him. Anyway i played with 8 matches today and i got 3K or 4K. Pop + BBQ + Corrupt + Devour was my build.
9th game was againts SWF team. They did not joined game with key. I played well and i killed 1 of them. 2 of them were on last hook, if i would caught them. Just Jake never got hooked and i hooked him and i started patrol my generators. I do not like camp, so i gave them chance to save Jake.
Anyway i was patrolling my gens but noone was doing any generator. They saved Jake and then i got spam voice notice. And when i go to them, they escaped with hatch. One of them found key in chest possibly (I checked one of them had plunderer) and they were looking for hatch. I played better than them but i lost game. Can anyone explain me, how this is fair?

Well if you think that it wasn't fair then you can think that. In your mind you can just pretend that you won because you probably wouldn't have anyway.

No one is saying keys are fair, everyone already knows keys are broken.
Outplayed by key, it happens, just move on from it and do more games, with all the wins you say you get, one loss due to something that isnt in your control shouldn't affect you too much.

I have this idea for key
Key now only has a single version: Broken key
Replace Dull key item (Purple) with Dull blade add-on (Brown): allow you to instantly open a chest, then Dull blade add-on is lost
Replace Skeleton key item (Red) with Skeleton blade add-on (Red): allow you to open hatch, then Skeleton add-on is lost
Because Dull key & Skeleton key are no more, they're not possible to get from chest.
Because Skeleton blade is Red add-on. With Ace in a hole only give you Purple add-on. Getting Broken key with Skeleton blade addon is not possible. Which mean you can only bring you own key to hatch escape.
Survivors now requires Broken key + Skeleton blade, which requires alot of BP (12.000BP). Make the key+hatch escape become super rare.

I am just talking about game problems from my experiences. And i am sorry if you can not understand but Englsh is not my first language and i am still working on it.

Problems only feel worse if you continue to dwell on them every time. Try to be more positive instead of complaining about them all the time and you may not find it so bad.
Also, English isn't my first language either. That's why it's hard for me to piece it together when it's separate.

Honestly, I think this is a recurring theme with a lot of people, not just killers but with survivors too. (I was doing good and winning but I lost. Woe is me.) Like it or not keys are part of the game. On the other side, blood warden is part of the game. Plan accordingly. Btw, just because everybody is on last hook doesn’t necessarily mean you’re winning. There is a real strategy behind allowing the killer to spread the hooks around and that Jake probably allowed you to hook him by choice. 3 escaping by hatch means 4 gens were done. You were closer to losing than you realize, or maybe breaking even with one more kill. The use of the keys just makes it easier to ignore that fact, no offense intended.

I had 3 gens in one area, so that was imposible for survivors win. I was defending them well. So no, i lost unfairly.

Well, how would you estimate your kill rate? Since dev means a balanced game is about 50% kills and 50% escapes, keys become unfair if they drop you below that rate. if your kill rate is higher than 50%, you are carried by matchmaking anyway.

Maybe the 8 of 9 Three or Four kill matches is actually the bigger issue. Killer mains seem to forget 3K or 4K isn't supposed to be the normal outcome.

8 out of 9 matches you got 3K to 4K, but you're focusing on the one that didn't go your way? Why not be content you had a pretty good streak going on? Keys are broken as hell and their spawns are pure RNG, so don't take it as some personal insult that they found one and used it.

Or maybe that was intended. If they found a key earlier in the match then they wouldn’t care. If they didn’t have the key then they might have stopped you from achieving that 3 gen. The idea that you were winning was merely an illusion on your part. They knew something you didn’t, much like how many people lose to blood warden. You always have to factor in keys even when you’re confident of your win. That’s just how the game is played.
