After Game Chat For Console? Petition?
i really want after game chat for console! It’s too bad you cannot do it right now! It’d be helpful! You could tell players other than PS4 (What I play) gg wp or something like that. Petition?

They should work on supporting M&K before they add pre-lobby/end game chat. You wouldn’t even be able to type “gg wp” before the opposite player or your own team roast you.

Post game chat should just be removed entirely from the game. It's either used for meaningless ggs (mostly after 1 side had a ######### game) or insults.

Honestly - what's the point? I've never understood the point of the existence of the post game chat.
90% of the time it's just someone insulting someone else. 10% of the time it's for "gg wp".
Sure, the latter is good behavior and nice to read but... what value does that hold? I'd rather pass on the rare "gg wp" to get rid of all the "mimimi <insert super salt mode here> QQQQQ".

I would love an end game chat, i can text pretty fast on a console those days on the ps3 messaging ad chat groups. fun times, but it would be interesting to see. i never get salty over that though if people send hate through messages i just put the GGs <3 and move on.

No thanks. I see all the constant posts about PC people having meltdowns for whatever reason. Doesn't seem fun to me. I get enough crazies sending me messages on PS4 as it is.

It takes ages though. I did want to compliment the tea bagging attention seeking twitch streamer that taunted me last night with a killer that's struggling due to this patch 😅

@OP do you have any clue what goes on in end game chat? For the most part it is nothing but toxic players yelling about how good they are and how bad their opponent is while threatening reports and bans at each other.
After starting DBD I soon realized how childish this community is, and had to turn off all communication from anyone not on my friends list. People still try to add me in game just to message trash talk. I'm warning you, Playstation does not sit on their hands like BHVR on this. They will ban you from PSN for harassment in a heartbeat. That doesn't mean no more DBD, that means no more online games, at all, and you lose the money that went into it, too.

As many as people demanded for this, its probably for the best they don't add it. It can become a ######### show in a matter of seconds when it comes to the EGC

They don't even need to add full keyboard support, just a few quick-access buttons that allow console players to type pre-defined phrases like "gg", "wp", "Your mom" etc

No thanks. I have my psn set to private so upset players can't take their anger out on me. I like that those players can't unleash on myself or others that are set to private and there is no work around like an end game chat for them to still try.
Instead of end game chat have the thumbs up show to people and have that be the gg. No chat needed and makes the thumbs up actually do something.

Yes, for the love of everything do this. We played the game for around 3 years, we spend tons of money and playtime, we even have keyboard and mouse support (for the console itself, not actually DBD), we at least deserve basic communication.
What we need is at least the option to, people can toggle it on and off so why do people care so much, I want to be able to give advice to others (I've seen many Pyramid Heads try putting trails around the hook, I want to tell them they can't do that, for example) and to say "GG" (there are many times it was a fun match but I can't let the killer know because they are on a different platform). I hate it when people say "no, trust me you don't," no trust me, I really do. And even if I didn't want it, we can still turn it off.
BHVR, please give Console Players End Game chat.
