Permanently banned
Hi, I just wanted to know if it is possible to be permanently banned for causing a survivor to be downed (not on purpose)? It happened 2 times but none of them were on purpose. One time I ran next to a pallet while another survivor ran behind me and also wanted to get to the pallet, which caused them to be downed because I blocked them while I also ran to the pallet in front of them. Then I ran too close to someone who was picking up a slug which caused the killer to find them. Today I ran into the way of a survivor who was being chased, 2 times. I was confused where the killer was and where I should run to not mess anything up (there was a wall next to us). I tried to move so the other survivor would have space but we just ended up always turning the same ways and bumping again and again. And well, ultimately I got hit instead of the other survivor, but later when we were the only ones left in the match, they refused to save me and stuff, so I suppose they got mad anyways. I heard that if people have a video proof then they can send it in, and you can very easily get permabanned for apparently helping the killer/griefing? Is that true?

Only for hacking as far as i know.

If it happens a lot and they provide video evidence to show it was clearly on purpose then helping the killer can cause indeed a ban.
Accidentally sandbagging someone once in a while can not. You're good don't worry.

If you are reported and video of provided that CLEARLY shows you are working with the Killer, it can incur a ban. How long that ban would be (permanent or not) I cannot say because I am not in the know. However, if what you say is true and these are just accidental sandbagging, you don't have anything to worry about. Everyone who plays this game has accidentally dropped a pallet and blocked another Survivor behind them while running from the Killer. Everyone here has accidentally lead the Killer onto other Survivors. It happens. People who are CLEARLY working with the Killer are hard to mistake, however, and video evidence is hard to deny.

There is a difference between a mistake and body blocking on purpose. something similar happened to me, when one survivor and i got stuck in each other and we both got downed.
Since then I'm always avoiding being near to other survivors during a chase.
Smart players who pay attention to what is happening in a game will not rush to report you. mistakes happens.

Stuff like this happens all the time don't worry about it devs know when someone is intentionally griefing and accidentally running the same way as them they look for multiple instances such as fast vaulting to bring the killer to the location and obviously pointing at the survivor.

If you've done nothing, then there's no need to be worried. Video evidence is required for reports of this nature and that gets reviewed by a specialised team who will make the decisions (assuming reports have been made).
