Killer skill check perks should be buffed

I purchased doctor recently and I was excited to try a skill check build since he's so check heavy. However, through playing, I've found that a lot of the skill check perks aren't nearly as useful as just straight up running the same perks as every other killer.

Huntress Lullaby gets cleared before its power actually comes into play.

Unnerving Presence doesn't seem to slow down survivors at all. Even when paired with distressing to maximize the range, gens pop as normal.

Overcharge is the only one of the skill check perks I have that does anything on doc, and it's better paired with Pop than the other perks.

Doctor has an opportunity for really cool skill check builds that would make him stand apart from basic killer builds of bbq, pop, corrupt, etc. But all the perks available don't do nearly enough to slow down survivors, unless they're players who already have trouble with skill checks, in which case you don't need the perks.

Huntress Lullaby should be de-hexed and unnerving presence should be severely buffed. Survivors should actually fail skill checks if I'm using multiple perks that make them harder. Or the skill check system for gens should be reevaluated. It sucks that this build is entirely non-viable.

    The problem is that as "skill-check" perks imply, they adversely impact players that aren't as good at the game.

    Having stacks of lullaby on a doctor will make newer survivors miss everytime and would guarantee you a win.

    However, it will be completely ineffective against experienced players who easily hit greats. Put simply, it was the same issue with old ruin.

    Edit: Not to mention console players that miss skill checks because of lag.

    ^ pretty much this.

    The Perks might be effective against new Survivors, they will probably make their experience really miserable. But the strong Survivors will not be bothered at all.

    @Topic:

    Lullaby HAS to be a Hex. Otherwise new Survivors would have no way to get rid of Lullaby, which makes it an Auto-Loss for them. And this should really not happen.

    Like, Lullaby is not that strong that it really warrants the Hex-Status, but you cannot make it permanent, it would kill the game on lower Ranks.

    i would suggest whispers on doc

    it's a good perk and it assures a blast will hit a survivor.

    Yeah I'm running bbq, overcharge, pop, and either surveillance or discordance. Whispers is a good idea, I'll have to play around with that.
