Bring back DC PENALTY !
it's completely unplayable at the moment there is always 1 Surv that DC in the game all other survs just leaved before the first hook

I never cared that people DC'ed. I never card that people killed themselves on the first hook. I play less now since I might have to sit in a bad girl time out. If a game bans me from playing, I just don't play it. Especially one as unstable as this game is.

New problems with stability? The few fps drops happend, but i havent crashed since 2017 ish.

did you even read what i just said ? i'm not talking about random crashes , people are doing it on purpose cause there are no any penalty .....
playing on PC and a Laptop never experienced any crash btw

I think it's fair to say that it's a combination of both players crashing and other players intentionally taking advantage of the lack of a DC penalty.

I crashed just as I hooked a survivor after a pretty good chase. The poor soul must've thought I've flexed in the strangest way imaginable with all the ragequitting that's going on.

In the last days i crashed as often as i crashed in the last few years combined.
The build is unstable. People crash. Devs wouldn´t deactivate the dc penalty, if the problem wasn´t severe.

I'm fine with DC penatly removed when I'm killer and I'm facing a Haddonfield offering.
Other than that, yeah it will be back after they fix the problems.

Ohh yeaaah, there is DC's constantly. I completely understand that the game is in a state where it needs to be disabled until fixed, but you can usually tell who ragequit on purpose (first one down, etc). It's sad that people are taking advantage of it, hell, even one of my friends told me to ragequit with him because he didn't want to play against Spirit today.
With that being said, I've been hit with a few errors myself & felt horrible afterwards even though it wasn't my fault. Happens to the best of us.

Yeah I originally wanted to do my fee missing adept because the reset hiccup and not playing a month have brought me down to rank 17. But with so many people un/intentionally dcing that not possible. Maybe I will try to get back up maining Oni. Always wanted to try him for real.

dude update yourself Haddonfield is changed, it didn't get complete rework but they shortened the fences which is result in NO MORE LOOPING, if you can't win on this map then you're just bad

I mean I agree but given that I've never crashed until this patch in which I crashed over 5 times I get why dc penalties are disabled.

Is there any reason to think it's not just temporarily disabled because this update broke the game? I literally cannot even play on my PS4 - it causes my system to shut down entirely.

Consoles got shafted by the performance decreases and it came to head this update. Not like it was any surprise since FPS and performance has taken a consistent dip every update with reworked maps and new content. I have a 3060ti with an i9-9900k and still have issues so I can’t imagine how bad it’s been. They really really need to work on optimization since it’s abysmal

Temporary fix could be to keep the penalty for people who quit out via the game. Currently, they can quit, spectate and no penalty. I'm guessing that less people will be willing to force-quit the client,pull the plug on ethernet than simply quit.

Kinda weird you're having issues with a 3060ti and i9-9900k. I'm running a 2070 super and i7-10700k and the game runs just fine.

I played 5 games yesterday, 3 of them had dc... always at the beginning when the got downed...

Really? All my Survs are freaking pro's, i'm sweating as much as when MMR was on. If MMR is off i must have missed that...

And thats a good thing. I rather play with someone that plays the game to the end instead of someone that dcs because the backround of the map doesn not match their choise of outfit.

I win about half the games I play on Haddonfield. I think you're exaggerating when you say you can't win any games on Haddonfield. What Killer are you playing, the K-Pop Killer without add-ons?

I really hope it has returned before the event, I'm being robbed of so many bbq stacks. Also they have hopefully found the cause of the crashing issues, luckily I have not been affected yet, and get those rolled out before the event too.

Once a survivor decides to give up, there's no point. You're just prolonging their, and inevitably, everyone else's misery.
There would be way less DC's if the lag was fixed, things were balanced, tunneling/hookcamping were fixed, and matches were actually balanced skill-wise.

Unfortunately the game keeps crashing. Mine has crashed 9 times on various maps with various killers.
At this point im not even taking the game seriously. Its to laggy and buggy. Im running meme build on trapper and trapping peoples items. I made a poor dweet dc because i wouldnt let him have his medkit back 😂

Game is causing too many crashes currently. Sucks some are taking advantage of it but players shouldn't be punished because BHVR broke their game with chapter patch.

I can give you some hints if you need help with winning on Haddonfield. Definitely don't chase players that run upstairs in houses, that tends to waste the most amount of time for killers, because a killer will get looped around the entire house if you do that. Try to hook survivors around strategic center of the map gens that have been worked, so you can kick those gens and waste survivors gen progress, because they have to get off that gen to help the hooked survivor.
Are you above rank 15 yet? If not, Haddonfield will seem like an unwinnable map. Once you get some more hours, you'll be able to win on it.
