Horror Aesthetic
Do you think it was right to remove the horror aesthetic from the game? I wish it had remained and am disappointed they traded "fear" for memes...
Are you happy with the changes DbD has undergone?
Or do you think its still there?

Do you have any examples

The twitter page

Brighter maps, cartoonish cosmetics, etc

I don't mind it. It's still a horror game after all and can genuinely get scares out of me every once in a while. The bright cosmetics are just fun for me.

A very tiny aspect of it remains, but you can barely notice it. Leaving the horror aesthetic aside, on a horror game, was a very bad idea.

I definitely think the horror isn't all gone. I mean, The Doctor is still there, isn't he? Look him right in the pried open eyes and tell me the horror is gone.

I think it’s still there.
the Maps feel more bright and open though. I think they should address this and rework the fog to make the feeling more like it used to be. But other than that I like the aesthetics of the map rework.
the cosmetics are not too bad either. There are some goofy ones, but even those don’t stand out too much for me..

At least I'm not the only one who doesn't like current DBD twitter

Yeah it sucks pretty bad. I follow it just in case there is a code or something I should know. And about 5x a day I get some nonsense notification that is relinked bad art, relinked pride art using dbd characters, or some such. I don't care about dbd fan art, would appreciate relevant updates and little else, getting ready to unfollow them

I got nothing against retweeting fan art or the pride stuff they're doing, what bothers me is the constant unfunny memes they put in basically all of their news stuff now. If it was seperate that'd be one thing, but it never is - they always insist on putting really unfunny and outdated stuff on there.
I hate the whole 'twitter guy' thing that other corporate twitters started, all they want to do is sell you a product.

I get what you're saying but in my opinion "Twitter guy" seems a lot better than what we had before him - which wasn't much in the way of communication...
2 -
I disagree, their communication has only gotten worse. All the 'Twitter guy' does is repeat what mods on here say when it comes to actual news.
It's 90% unfunny memes most of the time. Some people don't realise corporate twitters aren't your friends lol
As I'm sure you know, we used to have things like Q&As, semi-consistant responses to threads from CMs and so on. Those were much better than what we have now if you ask me.

We lost Q&As long before Twitter guy came along. And even when they do a Q&A they avoid anything the community actual wants answered and devote half the stream to more and fan art (not against either of those but kinda a dick move to use those to pad a Q&A)

Oh man you reminded me about that whole dwelf on the shelf or ######### ever they were doing at Christmas. Awful!

I hope you're ready because they're 100% doing it again this year.
