In Solo Q when the basics are known this game isn't killer or survivor sided.

From my personal experience in Solo Q when the basics are known. Minus a God Nurse with double recharge and Infectious or a God Spirit with MDR and Stridor winning is possible. While in Solo Q there has been struggles. I've seen also teammates know the basics and we won and had a fun game. So despite all the killer perks and such that everyone says is OP they aren't and basics are all that is needed to counter these "crutches". If you want bring up specific examples just don't say something with no good evidence.

    Solo Q certainly isn't impossible (I play exclusively Solo Q cause I have no friends!!! :D... D:)

    However...

There are a lot of disadvantages Solo Q puts you under that are out of your control. Something as simple as knowing what your teammate is doing gives SWF a huge advantage over the Solo Q player. A game can easily be won or lost by two people rushing across the map to unhook someone because two players just burned 20 seconds instead of one of them finishing the gen because they know the other is going for the save.

Not to mention that when the basics are known, it is pretty balanced but how many of us Solo Q'ers have played with survivors who were toddlers who somehow managed to boot up the game? Part of the roulette wheel of being a Solo Q'er is I can get competent teammates, I can get awesome teammates, I can get three barely sentient potatoes; it's a wheel of luck that seems to land on the sad side way more often than the happy side!

That is the one negative the extremely casual players who choose to not learn the game and do whatever they want. But, I've had matches with those good teammates and we were able to escape.

I think if this game had decent matchmaking, the overal matches would not only be more balanced but also way more fun.

That is the point I'm making with matchmaking just giving you these kind of survivors this is a balanced game.

Thats why they should just buff solos to SWF and then buff the killers to make up for it.

Then its completely on the team and if they know what they are doing.

Those games are also part of the fun of Solo Q. I've had matches with complete strangers I couldn't talk to where if I were the killer facing us, I'd have never believed you if you said we weren't a SWF group.

There are just sometimes where you and your stranger buddy are just on the exact same sentence, let alone the same page. Those games are what make putting up with the Potato games so worth it.

I play exclusively solo queue. This is pretty well true. Without the communication between each survivor, both sides have a legitimate chance, and the better of the 2 sides wins more often than not.

Unless you get potatoes or severely bad rng. But I personally find the chaotic nature of solo queue fun.

I see this opinion fairly often. But what exactly are those solo and killer buff we talking about here?

Nah. Killers now stomp casual SWFs for the most part. Solos are mostly doomed to die with here and there times where all 4 Survivors are solid and the Killer isn't. Killers aren't nearly as weak as the hivemind likes to pretend on here.

A lot of killers aren't as weak as they're portrayed, But many are as weak as they're shown. Solo Qs who know what they're doing will not get curb stomped. For example a God Doctor won't have an easy 4k with survivors who the basics to face Doctor. Like going for lockers familiar with the shock therapy's range and width.

The believe one side is extremely weak and needs buffs to have a chance. While I don't believe that's the case.

When I get destroyed its always by a group full of randos and not swf lol

I play solo only, and i had very good matches with other solo survivors vs skilled killers. In a good balanced game, i dont even care about winning.

I hope matchmaking will give me such matches, but i fear they might be like the last test showed me: one killer, 2 player with higher skill, 2 player with lower skill, and most end in a 2k2e.

In my experience good solo survivor stomp killer. But maybe the killer player was just bad. With the current matchmaking i cant say for sure.

If they can buff solo the the swf level how long do you think this will take for the killer to get buff. To give you an idea they said last year that they are going to change key player are still waiting for that change. Now imagine that but for 25 killer its impossible for them to do it before killer quit the game because the game wont be enjoyable for the average killer.
