How do they even mess things like this up?
I heard when you finish the tutorials it resets your cosmetics and builds.
I thought huh, that was a while ago surely its fixed. I just finished the last tutorial and all my survivors and killers perks / cosmetics are completely reset. Stuff like this boggles the mind.

At first i thought it was a bug. some people believe is not but a feature to reset glitch cosmetics.

I think the why of this is honestly quite simple. The tutorial unequips all your perks and cosmetics. It probably applies this to all your characters. Therefore everyone on that side is “blank slated”. I’d presume if one were to only do the survivor tutorial, their killers would be fine.
I doubt they’d implement this intentionally for the purpose of removing glitched cosmetics. They want to deny that game-wide. Why limit it to such a specific thing the player can just not do? I understand the pessisimism, but that’s just madness.

Nope, I only did "Survive with bots" and it reset EVERY character, not only survivors.

I had no clue before it happened and it threw me off for a bit. Thankfully I usually only main a couple characters with unique builds that are easy to remember.

Its a tutorial, its intended for people who are brand new to the game, they likely didn't test to see what would happen to perks and cosmetics, because new people don't have them set up yet. To someone literally brand new, they wouldn't notice the bug
