survivor specific "abilities"

I simply can not handle de fact that all the survivors are practically skins once you have unlocked all teachable perks ¿why do killers get to have all the variety? it makes playing survivor dull sometimes.

why not give survivors specific abilities/traits?

what about integrating the most important survivor perks into them and turning those perks into powers?

those perks become some sort of powers like the killers have.

For example

Dwight has leader as an "special ability"
Claudette has self-care
Meg has sprint burst
Jake has saboteur
Laurie has DS
David has no mither/dead hard

this would turn some current perks into abilities exclusive to certain survivors, making them no longer teachable and giving survivors flavor.

Nah. If I want a gen jockey Claudette, I enjoy that freedom.
If I want Meg to be a master healer without a med kit, I want that freedom.
If I want to sabotage as Min without a toolbox, I want that freedom.

I don't want some meta forming where I have to be someone or else people are going to get mad at me, and I want the freedom to run what ever perks I want and have other people generally leave me alone.

Survivors don't need a tier list. They don't need to have to be individually balanced, and rebalanced over and over again, either.

Identity v has such abilities and most u see are nurses (healing speed + fast selfcare)
And gardeners ( permament normal speed sabotage without roolbox plus less hook progress speed) .

It definitely would create a meta in dbd unless every survivor gets really bad weaknesses too.

Nope. I like them the way they are.

Sorry, what would happen are 4mans of the top survivor with no variety. 4 man trolling would be worse as well. Killers are a solo game, it makes sense for tier lists and all that to go with a killer. However survivor has always about freedom ... pigeon-holeing them would be the opposite of this.

I think a better option might be a 4th unteachable perk for survivor & killer. Have it unlock on Prestige 3 level 50 so the grind has a goal. Doesn't have to be better than everything else just something unique to the individual. Some swf already run  quadruplets anyway.

it would still start tier lists for survivors ... Im a killer main, so i don't really care.. but are you ready for nerf this, buff that ... tier lists for survivors? or would you rather just pick whatever survivor you want because they are all technically the same.

(My god, i just realized there is an actual philosophical debate hidden within the mechanics of dbd... ill have to bring it up later in off topic or something.)

Not doubt the side wars would rage further. Just saying that if they did (after the game reaches a sense of real balance), an optional perk would be a little easier to work around than having to separate each survivors base for tweaks.
