Older gamer's playing DBD
Hi I'm looking to play with an older crowd if possible. Does anyone know of a group on Discord that likes to play DBD?

I feel you. By gamer standards I am definitely older at 47. I used to be of the the opinion in online gaming that age doesn’t matter and I’ll play with anybody because it isn’t like I’m planning upon meeting anybody in real life or hooking up. To an extent that is still true, but I’ve basically stopped adding friends or playing on mics because I’ve come across some weirdly clingy individuals. Generally I will avoid talking about how old I am because I’m afraid my geriatric age will scare people off. Now I just stick to playing solo and am actually much happier not having to deal with soap operas. What can I say? I remember the days when I used to spend all weekend playing Pitfall on my Atari 2600 all by myself, lol!

@CountVampyr I'm in my 40's and and understand what you are saying. Any discord I have found either is not busy or they are simply to young and the conversations would be weird I think.There is less drama solo but I'm new and would like to learn the game some more.

I'm 50 and I feel you. SWF is more of a distraction because they blast music, talk about issues I am not interested in, or just socially odd. It is hard to find a group of folks I could actually enjoy teaming with. It is cool that there are a bunch of us old farts playing this game.

I feel like it’s less about age and all about maturity. When it comes down to it usually people in general that play games are socially awkward irl and that’s why they’re stuck inside with nothing better to do than act like an idiot online. I’ve met some guys in their 40’s before that were immature as heck and you wouldn’t know their age based on how they acted. I’ve also met some people that were on the younger side in their 20’s (I’ll say mid- late 20’s lol) that were more mature, could hold better conversation and were overall just a lot more enjoyable to play with. Dbd as a whole has a pretty annoying, & immature community so it’s hard to find good teammates. Not that you asked but just wanted to put my 2 cents in. Have a good day lol
