what to expect from tomorrow's hotfix update??
So the BIG problem are the performance issues on last gen consoles and lower end PC's. But I feel like it's gonna be a while before that gets fixed. I expect the new raccoon police station to be re enabled and the bugs that came with this update will be fixed.

Given they replied very specifically to a tweet regarding racoon city map it's going to be just about that with radio silence to all the game breaking performance issues on consoles.
I really hope I'm wrong, I bought so many killers switching over to PS4 pro this week and most of their powers make trying to chase a nightmare of stuttering.
If I'm right I do think this backlash is going to seriously snowball out of hand and I hope I'm not.

Heh no not at all, if you look at their social medias it's becoming very clear their lack of direct comment regarding it is starting to turn on them.
When will game companies learn that radio silence is never the correct approach.

We need one before the event starts, the last thing people need is to have at least 3 cakes in play then the game kicks them, that will be infuriating if it keeps happening.
I'm not expecting all bugs to be fixed but the bigger ones, crashes and powers not working properly, really need to be done in the hotfix.

Bug Fixes: We fixed a bug with Clown's bottles not affecting survivors.
Known Issues: Clown can't throw bottles.

These have been the responses on Twitter today asking for updates on performance and rpd map.

They'll announce the hotfix patched crashes.
Crashes will still occur as before.
People won't be able to get crowns and BP from cakes because they keep getting kicked from trials.
In return, BHVR extends the event and gifts us some very generous 100k bp.

I just thoroughly checked their Twitter. There’s no additional hot fix mentioned. Only the one they advised about last week.

- Minor bugs no one knew about to be fixed
- Major optimization issues to not be mentioned
- New map still disabled
- "Nemesis was overperforming, will now require 4 hits to down"

Probably useless bug fixes like "fixed an animation glitch when survivors fall out of the map"
And new bugs such as "survivors can periodically fall through the map"

So you mean to tell me another hot fix patch is here and there still isn't a damn thing in it about improving performance.....your animations on the home screen do t mean ######### if we can't play the ######### game. I give up. Our event is gonna be ######### because we are still gonna crash and lag and stutter regardless. Way to kick off another year. I has so much optimism, they just spit in my face with this bug patch.
