Killer loadout

I dont know if some of you look at the loadout after the game but here what i see and use most of the time.

1- Bbq, Pgtw, Corrupt Intervantion

2- Ruin, Undying, Tinkerer

3- Ruin, Pgtw, Corrupt intervantion and Tinkerer

The reason i did not put a fourth perk on the loadout 1 and 2 is because most of the time the fourth slot is reserve for the perk that suit the killer power example spirit with stridor or bubba with bamboozle.

Do some of you think this is a problem specially because when i play survivor the only perk i feel i should have at any time is dead hard but for killer its not the case i feel like they need far more just to be competitive against the survivor

As a newer player, most of the videos I watched just list the same perks over and over again. Ruin, Undying, Pop Goes the Weasel, Corrupt Intervention, Tinkerer, and Barbecue and Chili.

Very rarely is anything else recommended. I was actually shocked Lethal Pursuer wasn't more commonly advised for new players because, well, the first 30 seconds of the game are so important and often I can't find anyone before that. Lul.

I did start using lethal persuer with ruin, undying and tinkerer but not on every killer. Personnaly this gave me a lot of success but at the end i use this perk only because i dont want to use noed every match and i use noed only when i see 2 or more toolbox

Try to stay away from gen slowdown perks if you are new to the game. They can potentially propel you into deep waters quickly and you will feel uncomfortable playing at those ranks. Take your time, learn the ins and outs and experiment with different perks and you will gradually reach a point where you feel comfortable.

A meta will always exist, thats not a problem of course people want to use the strongest perks.

I think it sucks that killers need slowdown perks to get anywhere, but unfortunately the game is balanced around having those perks so theres no fix.

If the average trial finally got balanced around not having those perks, and those perks got nerfed, then maybe we would see more diversity in perks. Same for the survivor side

How you do that though i have no idea.

When I started I always equipped Discordance. Good to guide you to where the survivors are pressuring gens.

Those are the strongest perks and combos, of course they will be recommending them. But there are more good combos:

    • Sloppy Butcher and Nurse's Calling: Make them use forever to heal and see where they are when they try to. Throw in Thanatophobia as well and this is a really strong combo.
    • Surveillance also goes well with gen slow down perks such as Ruin
    • Enduring + Spirit Fury, will take all survivors by surprise
    • Monitor % Abuse + Infectious Fright, good for anti-flashlight and or pallet stun when you pick up survivors. Also this is lethal on killers such as Bubbba who can down multiple survivors at once in one chainsaw sprint

OP: You don't NEED those perks to be competitive with survivors, maybe for the rank1 sweat squads but those are far in between. I see a lot of interesting perk-combos from killers I face.

As a survivor, the only perk i must have is Borrowed Time. All other perks can be changed with different builds.

As you progress, it will be possible to win matches with far less powerful perks than those. Whilst perks can help to win matches, it's ultimately skill that wins every match. You can have the most destructive perks locked in, but if the skill isn't there then you may as well have no perks.

Take time to learn the game and improve without relying on perks, but more your senses, experience and skills. The perks will become less of an issue then.

Also, ironically, putting in unexpected perks can really flumux an opponent. Again, it won't be enough with perks alone, but always be unpredictable.

    Indeed.

The devs have stated that they don't want to release any more meta perks, they instead want to release perks that they think will go well with others.

Monstrous Shrine, Furitive Chase, Hoarder and Shadowborn.

If you don't run this you aren't in on the new meta.
