Are your eyes open yet Community? We Deserve Better Than This, AGAIN. (Anniversary Event Failure)
I made a post a while back about the horrible launch of the Resident Evil chapter. These horrible updates have been trending for a while. Now the event that BHVR said they would pour more effort into (The Anniversary and Halloween) can't even launch without MORE bugs and problems. The event let alone the game is unplayable.
If BHVR can't be trusted to make their Year 5 Anniversary Chapter (Resident Evil) one of the best licenses that they have acquired perfect along with their actual Year 5 Anniversary EVENT after they said they would put more effort into the events, what can you trust them to get right? The answer for me at least is nothing.
They had months to prepare and make this right I mean for christ sakes they even told us more effort would go into the events! But clearly not it's just a broken promise on top of more broken things in the game. But all of you still put up with it? It's abuse. No one should put up with any of this BS. If I even so as mention the word you know this will get taken down, but I know you're thinking it and so is everyone else. Seriously how much more of this can you all tolerate?
This event, The chapters, the updates are all let downs and my disappointment in Dead By Daylight and BHVR is immeasurable. Inexcusable.

So long as they keep attracting new players with half baked licensed killers they dont need to change because they are still making money. They dont care about us because they already have our money. They care about all the people who havent bought their game and all the dlc and cosmetics.

This problem will never end until they rewrite their broken game from the start up, they need to pull a ff14 here, it's only going to get worse and worse the more they stack on top of it.

Yeah it seems to be that all video game companies are interested in attracting new players, and not keeping the old ones. I don't think there's much we can do about it.

Ok, I agree. We ######### do deserve better than this.
A supposed "extra effort" event that doesn't even work? What is this?

Maybe but I really do think a large portion of us are starting to notice and are fed up.

Just like TF2. DBD is built on a code of duct tape.

If they work their ass off to please us we might buy their next chapter. Which gets them what, $12?
If they attract a new player thats anywhere from $30-$500

I think it was a youtuber, whose name will get me banned if i mention it, who said
"This game is a revolving door. With new players coming in and old players going out"

I mean, I intend to try to have fun but yeah, performance issues and disconnects just move me on to other experiences.
I'm not so much on the same boat with most when it comes to them saying they'd have better events and so forth... Clearly it didn't happen and that kinda sucks, but it is what it is. Events are additional experiences.
Now we're seeing even further degradation of the basic game experience, which is really unfortunate.

Tf2 requires a picture of a coconut to run correctly, yet it doesn't have nearly as many problems as dbd lmao

They rewrite an entire mmo in 2 years because yoshi, the director who took over is pretty damn incredible, he's highly respected in the industry for pulling off that feat.
If you haven't played the shadowbringers dlc it's prob one of the greatest dlcs in mmo history and not exactly a cat girl anomie guy

That's actually false. The coconut thing is a false rumour.
However, TF2 is dependent on a cow texture or else it will crash.

This game's playerbase is mostly blind to how horrible it is and how the devs blatantly don't care, and those who call out the facts are bad.

Huh, I mean that's just as bizarre as the coconut thing lmao.
