After everything that's gone wrong today...
...I sincerely hope that BHVR extends the anniversary event.
It was messy enough that the event got released at a time when console players have extreme difficulty playing the game between major anti-QOL framerate issues and random crashing, but right now everything is broken across the board. At first everyone was getting constantly reset and kicked out of the game, and losing their stockpiled/event BP because of it, then it was the crowns not working, and now matchmaking just gave up the ghost and most players seem unable to load into games.
I've soldiered through a lot of bugs before, but the game truly isn't playable in its current state. Like it will not let you play no matter how hard you try and how much you're willing to put up with. I've had to restart Dead By Daylight over a dozen times today and I'm ready to call it quits when even that's not enough to get me into a match. So... I don't want to make demands, but a big fat extension to make up for the days that are inevitably going to get sucked out of this event is more than wishful thinking at this point; if they don't have this fixed by the end of the day, it seems like a necessity.
Bugs happen and I'm pretty forgiving about that, particularly when it seems like this may be a server load issue, but I really hope BHVR stretches out the calendar after everything that's gone corked today.

They really should have just given everyone enough shards for a full cosmetic set as a sorry for all the issues and delayed the "event" for as long as needed to get the fixes done. It's really sad how bad everything is.

I truly think and agree with Bush, atleast another 9k shards should be offered on top of the 9k along with the extension as we have gone through all of this today.
