Raccoon City PD is the best
i got to play on it for the 2nd time on Nemesis tonight and i really enjoy it! It feels exactly like the Remake of RE:2 and it's really well done to fit into DBD. Best map they have come out with besides Haddonfield imo.
I also got zero bugs on my game, zombies are also super good on this map

Half satire?

It looked like 3/4 satire to me.

no i really do like the map

I absolutely hate it, far too maze like and so confusing to navigate. It should have been split in 2 maps, west wing and east wing imo.

Well, you said you like Haddonfield, so I'm taking this post with many grains of salt.

He doesn't strike me as a troll from the posts I have seen so he might like those maps even as a killer. Some people are not much into internet and popular opinions.
Haddonfield is tough for the killer but it doesn't look ugly or bad to me.

Yeah I don't get why people hate on it so much, I think it's just the typical bandwagon of dbd players. I personally love it.

It is extremely large with unfun gameplay for most survivors and killers. Survivors struggle to find gens. It basically encourages killers to camp hooks and one side of the map. Why am I going to go try to defend a gen that Pop will be expired by the time I reach it? Imagine playing Trickster on this map...

Haddonfield is good in concept and design but i see the flaws with playing on it, doesn't mean a map can't be my favorite. i like it on survivor but killer is bad, same with other maps usually

I think they're difficult in some cases hell yes, but i like that they are in the game. I definitely agree on tweaks to help balance

IMO it is the worse map in dbd. Way to big, and way to hard to navigate. I get why RE fans would love it, but for dbd fans it is just another indoor map that people will dread to play on.

Haddonfield is one of my favorite maps from the start. As a killer I struggled more on asylum and that map always looked ugly to me. I never liked it as a survivor or killer.

It is kinda mostly greyish tones and bleak

Survivors struggle to find Gens because they have barely played it. This isn't a giant, open cornfield or forest, it has a layout, and that takes time to learn.
I have no issue finding Gens or navigating the map, because I played the RE2 Remake. Idk why players expect to understand the map right off the bat, especially if they've never(or very seldom) been on it before.

Atleast Lerys and Hawkins are decent playable even for oni and blight but RPD is definatly unplayable.

I love the map mainly because I can navigate it pretty well since every room is the same and I can memorise, hate Lerys though.

It's an indoor map. That's enough

Tast can be different I guess.
The fun thing is, that from a design perspective I like Haddonfield, especial if I play versus Nemesis. The zombies in those buildings are a nice touche and the suburban style fits well into the game. I love plaing Ghostface here for those reasons -
BUT Haddonfield is a mess when it comes to loops, spawns and other things. The map is torture for Killers and needs some changes to be fun for both sides. Nothing makes me want to mori a suvivor more than a Haddonfield offering.
Same for Reccoon City.
The map looks good and I like playing Myers and Ghostface here. The look is cool and it is a different kind of indoor map. It fits well into DbD and I am hyped as hell to play more on it.
From a gameplay standpoint I had too few matches here to make a good statment. Sure the map is big and as it is new I do not know spawns or good routes by now. However there are some funny loops and so far no survivor was able to abuse the map as much as Haddonfield.

same with me, thats part of the reason why i like it, im like "oh i remember from 2 that.."
