Whats more unfair? Spirit with stridor against survivors without iron will?
Or survivors with iron will against a spirit without stidor?
The reason why i want to bring this up, is because it seems like people start complaining about Stridor itself.
IMO Stridor is one of the best balanced perks in the game right now. Its not a ultra stong perk but it does what it want to do perfectly fine.
Its also a bit stronger than its counterpart Iron wiill, just like it should, since its a 4VS1.
So the problem isnt the perk, its Spirit herself.
The problem there is, i can understand why so many Spirits use Stridor.
Iron will is used pretty often and you can definitaly call it a meta perk.
If a survivor uses iron will and Spirit doesnt use stridor, it basically completly negates her chase power.
All you could do then is MAYBE see the grass moving, which isnt that easy + there are tons of places without grass.
What do you think she should do then? She could only guess.
She litteraly cant use her power in the chase if the survivors know that. She cant phase since she wont hear anything then. Standing still also doesnt work since you can just walk away in the different direction and if she suddendly start moving you just have to instantly start moving too.
On the other hand, if a Spirit uses stridor while survivors dont have iron will, the spirit will have it extremly easy to locate survivors of they got a decent headset.
The only way that could fix both issues is if they make her power doesnt work with stridor while also making it so iron will doesnt work against her power.
Please, stop bashing Stridor and also dont bash Iron will. Its there to be used.
Also dont complain about Stridor spirit if you use iron will.

Spirit with Stridor most definitely. Spirit is already incredibly strong and Stridor just puts her over the top countering her only possible counter which is Iron Will. I personally don’t run Stridor whenever I play Spirit.

I just can’t relate. Winning as killer in a dominating, unfair fashion isn’t that fun.
I want the struggle. To overcome. No ruin/undying. No stridor Spirit.

Survivors with Iron Will against a Spirit without Stridor should be how it always is.
anything else just creates a lose - lose scenario for Survivors and thats absolutely no fun.

Honestly don't need stridor on spirit. Only need headphones.

What do you do without stridor against iron will? How is Stidor more unfair here?

Then how would you use spirits power?

I don't know if its really necessary for the spirit to be able to hear grunts of pain when in phase. I've seen spirits do well vs iron will without stridor and they also get hits while the survivor is healthy. Removing grunt noises (not footsteps) might not break her but make her a tad bit challenging to play with.

You simply just don’t use your power the same way against Iron Will users as opposed to non Iron Will users. When you’re phasing for distance, don’t use the full duration to catch them, literally just use half of it and cancel your power to see where they are. At loops, just use your power in short bursts. There’s no penalty in miss phasing so you don’t need to come out and swing every single time. It’s not like Nurse where you have to land directly on top of them to down them.

Spirit with Stridor. Since in the other scenario they can use scratch marks, grass moving, and footsteps.

by using your map awareness and knowledge of survivors to your advantage to predict their actions and cut them off.
You see scratch marks, you hear footsteps, you see grass move, etc. there certainly are enough tooks to work with.
