Can someone help me out with my PH build

I'm a PH main and this is my current build, Nurses, Ruin, Infectious and BBQ.

Im thinking about swapping out Nurses and Infectious for different perks, I used to run Nurses solely because I didn't have any other aura reading perks but now that I have every perk in the game I don't know what to bring.

I do ruin, pop, discordance, tinkerer. Nurses? Eh. It’s not good enough without a mangled effect and Pyramid doesn’t want to run sloppy. You can tunnel cages fine without it.

Infectious assumes the survivors are bad. Only a very small handful of killers can use it into a very good team. Pyramid isn’t really one of them, he is too slow.

Lethal persuer might be good but I find discordance to be incredible with tinkerer to gauge which gens are worth going to protect.

My usual go-to on PH is: Ruin + I'm All Ears + STBFL + Surge

If you wanted to swap in BBQ for tracking/BP, then I'd probably drop STBFL for it. Though he does use STBFL quite well due to having a lethal special attack.

I highly recommend trying I'm All Ears on him, it's one of the best perks to use with his power.

Ruin and Surge are just nifty because kicking gens is too much of a time-cost.

Nah M1 perks are a waste if you are good with using his power. You only use M1 perks if you can’t land his M2. Against good survivors you have to rely on M2 and any M1 perks become irrelevant.

I just want to add on Im all Ears. The idea is if your chasing someone and the fast vault a window. The perk highlights their aura so you can try to get a range attack when you wouldn't normally be able to see them.

But it’s just not good enough. Most of the time you want to make the shots behind a wall anyways, no vault needed.

Otherwise the survivor is more likely to dodge when you Telegraph the attack. It has such a massive cooldown for 1 attempt at an M2; when once you are experienced and have enough map knowledge you should be making those prediction shots without it. I’d only run that perk on nurse.

Try Monitor and Abuse. In my opinion it's quite solid on him because it makes his biggest counter (holding W) a bit weaker. His terror radius, just like Deathslinger, has a very slow build up and with M&A you'll notice survivors start running waaaay late.

Switch Tinkerer out for nurses and pop out for infectious if you want to be sweaty :)

His weakness is holding m1 for a reason, landing that shot isnt easy since its telegraphed so hard. Especially in a stretched res environment. Stbfl and tinkerer are good perks on a hold w killer imo

Nah. If the survivors are amazing you use it for zoning more than shots. But M1 perks are a huge waste. If you are gonna run STBFL you might as well play wraith instead of a killer with a skill shot.

Ok but if youre using it to zone then youre hitting them with m1...so then stbfl is now a goid perk on him. The survivors dont have to be amazing to avoid the skill shot, its not that difficult. Which leads us back to zoning and the m1 meta and back to stbfl and tinkerer.

It only happens sometimes. Other times they get desperate and vault the window in front of you. You use M1 and M2 equally and thus M1 perks are suboptimal.

Surge? God it’s so bad. Run it for the memes maybe. STBFL? You have to tunnel in red ranks. Maybe the survivor was never tormented and now you lose the perk slot. Ideally you are downing with pure M2 anyways.

Fair enough, i dont use it much i just dont find him much trouble to go against.

I said tinkerer, surge is meh

I second this build. Ruin, pop, discordance, tinkerer is PH's absolute best perk loadout imo. If I want more BP, I'll swap in BBQ in place of discordance, but it is weaker

Nurse's, infectious fright (not good for snowballing but good for knowing when to cage and when not to), and I'm all ears are really solid perks for PH, but once you get good enough at chase with him, none of those perks are going to do nearly as much for you as ruin/pop/discordance/tinkerer. Although I will say, Nurse's is really really fun on him

I could see STBFL being good on him but I've never had much luck with it. And if I'm being honest, keeping track of stacks and the obsession in a game where the killer already has to keep track of a million other things... that perk exhausts me, but I could see why people would use it. PH's best counterplay as survivor is to hold W, and STBFL is very good for stopping that
