Apparently the nemesis we got is too small.

So nemesis is suppose to be much taller, the entity just shrinks killers now?

Reminder that they had to shrink Ridley in order for him to fit in with the other characters in SSBU.

The entity increases the photosensitivity of killers so much that even while you are looking away, you get blinded by flashlights that open a rift to the stars.

I mean, he is still tall af in DBD, making him any taller would have been an issue, due to map design.

I'm not sure just how accurate that scaling is. It's fairly obvious that RE3 remake Nemesis is taller and bigger than DbD's version (the latter's legs are shorter, particularly), but whether this video is an entirely accurate comparison is another question.

That said, the creator of the video also used this model in a DbD context (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Emf7Lvpu9M), and so unless he changed the scaling for that, it goes to show that a larger Nemesis could fit into the game with custom animations. But that's obviously a lot more work than just making him smaller, so that's what we got. To be fair, Nemesis is still the tallest killer in the game (ignoring Demogorgon which does not stand upright), and so he's still "special" in that respect. I would definitely prefer if he were to be as massive as he appears in the remake, but eh, the extra work that would have to go into that should rather go into giving him more compelling abilities.

One simple thing they could do to make him feel noticably taller though is to raise the killer PoV level. It sits around the standard height for tall killers and it would be cool if instead it would be higher, not only in terms of the feel of playing the character but also because then at least he gets the slight advantage of being able to look over stuff easier, as a trade-off for being spotted easier due to his height. Hell, maybe it would even allow for the tentacle strike to hit more reliably over obstacles, a buff Nemesis definitely could do with.

Nemesis is already gigantic, like I think the only killer that comes close is Pyramid head if he would straighten his posture

But it would admittedly be fun if nemesis would be even bigger and gain the power of the scrapped "demolisher" killer where he could just destroy walls and obstacles like pallets

You do realise this would require a complete overhaul of the entire game's movement systems and terrain to allow for this?
