Why bother looping....

Like seriously, with the amount of oppressive killers on 1vs1 who just shits on loops like Nemesis or Deathslinger, like why even bother?

Trying to loop just ends with you getting hit, drop a pallet? still get hit, dont? still get hit, windows? same thing, and people wonder why Holding W is a thing....

They actually requires skill to play against at least, and the Survivor needs to know what he's doing, instead of just running in circles mindless and throwing pallets when the Killer is close.

Some of them are sure hard to play against when the Killer is good, but you are not supposed to win every chase.

Looping a nemesis is easy you loop him like you loop a huntress if you crouch after droping the pallet yoh dodge the tentacul strike. If you are not infected its a free sprint burst i dont know why people say he is oppresive in the 1v1

You are not looping a Slinger. You run in a straight line, you predrop the pallet, you keep running. When he hits you, you do the same again.

The new wave of killers are forcing survivors to play like that, because its the most effective playstyle (to counter for example Slingers 110% and his mid range attack)

They really dont. In fact the survivors play the by far easiest way possible against those type of killers.

Pretty much, im honesty annoyed by that design, devs have focused too much on 1vs1 and neglected 1vs4, making killers that are oppressive on chase by have no map pressure

Why bother not tunneling when 3 gens pop on the first hook against any decent team? If you're not a potato you should be able to last 50 seconds easily on the first chase and with all map resources available. Add in travel and hook time and 3 gens should be around 60-75/80 seconds and the killer is 1/12 the way through their objective

I could say the same about chasing a survivor on a safe loop with a M1 killer. Why bother? Just accept some things against certain playstyles are not worth doing and adapt a new playstyle, even if it's just holding W.

Deathslinger is the prime example but I find a lot of the other killers who are said to be too oppressive quite fun to go against. And Slinger needs that oppressive 1v1 like you said because he is so weak in the other two pinnacles of a strong killer Mobility and Snowball.

    op is talking about looping

not tunneling or gen rushing, why does every jaded killer main who can’t pressure gens always bring this topic up in a post

even when it’s not about it.

And this is why I hate that video a certain youtuber made. They're not impossible to counter or loop, it just requires more effort than the OGs, which is fine. Just adapt, that's all. I hope you'll have better experiences OP

    Because looping is fun.

Just drop pallets and hold W - apparently most of the killer mains on these forums have no idea how to play against that tactic LOL.

Literally they get beat almost every time a survivor does that.

The irony here is that killer mains complained about loops, they ontroduce killers that can ignore loops and now they complain about shift + w (when it's the only thing you can do against a killer than can ignore loops) it's like they want an empty map for them to just get easy wins.

You can loop them however you need to understand how exactly their powers work, maybe try out playing as them from time to time. Or just hold W and pray for the best you buying time either way
