5th Anniversary Cake and Item Rarity
IMO... The anniversary cakes and items are way too rare in the blood web (and chests in-game) this year. I played many hours during the 4th-anniversary event. I was burning one (and usually everyone else too) and would get enough points to get at least 2-3 more cakes with the blood points earned. It was a BP factory and I absolutely loved it! I played several hours every day of the event due to this. I was burning a cake every single game and still had over 400 cakes left spread out amongst numerous characters when the event ended. For me, the 4th anniversary was the pinnacle of blood points gain over any event. Even double blood point weekends. Being that this only happens 2 weeks out of 52, I personally felt this was a very good thing for the player base that plays this game consistently (such as myself). BHVR stated themselves that they wanted the Anniversary and Halloween events to be the biggest and best events they put on.
The payout on anniversary cakes for me this year is typically 1 cake per 4-5 blood webs where it was 1-2 almost every blood web last year. Pretty much the same with the items. It took me around 10 blood webs to get one single event toolbox on my main survivor this year. I've had the Halloween Event to be this way in the past as well. One year it is extremely common to get spooky flashlights and medkits, and an abundance of event offerings, only to have another year be super rare and there be ZERO items available in the chests in-game. I know some complained about having a bunch of event offerings left over after the event, and do agree having some kind of exchange at the end of the event to cash them out would be optimal, but that isn't a concern with BP offerings that are good all year round.
IMO... For a game to be this old and have a good player base, BHVR should be appreciative as much as the community is appreciative of the developers continuing to try and keep the game entertaining. I will state the Iridescent shards and blood points given out daily as login rewards is very nice, but I feel BHVR's drop rate on cakes and items are very stingy and need to be increased pronto! This is definitely a drag on the fun for the event for me. I would assume there are others that would agree. Cakes being played this year seem to be much more sparse. Last year it was consistent 3-5 cakes stacked every game. I'm seeing a lot of games with zero cakes, in the middle of the event. That is a telling sign to me. People simply aren't getting many to have to play.
This should be a time of fun and decadence as far as this game is concerned.
Please up the drop ratio on these items pronto!

I had 1,000,000 BP exactly so I prestiged my Yun-Jin.
It took 315,000 BP to get a single cake on her.
315,000 BP for a single cake.
I wish I were joking.

Last year 50k would have gotten you 1 or 2.

It's probably a bug with survivors, with killers I get between 1 and 3 cakes per level.

I don't think it's a bug - survivors have to win and killers just have to interact to get the crown. The event is just better for killers.
Yeah it's kind of absurd.

"Me: I wish I could get cakes so I can use the offering every single match
Game: I'm sorry, did you say you wanted 3 anniversary flashlights?"
The problem is that survivors have 4 Event items and they all compete for spots, while killers can only use the offering, and will find 2-3 every bloodweb.

took me 12 bloodweba to get a cake. At 50k per lvl50 bloodweb it's insane. I hate the concept of having to spend bloodpoints on an offering to potentially get more points in a match.
Just give us a 500% BP increase weekend.

Bug or not. It needs to be rectified ASAP. If it is a bug, it's only affecting 4/5th's of the player base. :-/ Not to mention super long killer queue times like with every event. Everyone wants to play killer during events. Always been that way.
This is a 100% joy killer. The major highlight of the event is the BP. Every event is like this. For at least the last 3 years, every event has an issue. They stated they were going to spend less time on the Chinese New Year and Winter Event so they could "focus more time" on the Anniversary and Halloween Events; so they could be "better". It's cakes and the same items from last year. They made a new graphic for the cake and changed the number from 104% to 105%, there is nothing "new" about this event over last year's event other than throwing us some free Iri shards and BP like they did with the Winter event. What is different or so "big and better" from last year? Same old issues. I expect no less honestly. You have people you count on to come through and you have those that you know will disappoint you so you come to expect it. Unfortunately, us long-time players know which to expect from BHVR. It's sad, but 100% true. I really wish I didn't like this game. It's depressing.

Both were abundant in last year's Anniversary and Halloween events. I had 100-200 leftover Halloween offerings (spread over all characters) and prestiging one character meant 20+ spooky medkits and flashlights. I've got characters I prestiged last Halloween event that have greater than 40 spooky medkits and flashlights on them still! Same with the Anniversary items. They reduced other items so those items would take center stage. We can get the other crap any time of the year. The ratio for these items should have a greater probability to make them semi-abundant. I can get yellow and brown medkits, yellow and brown flashlights and yellow and brown toolboxes all year long. Decrease the ratio on that crap and increase it on the special items and offerings! It can't be that complicated! They've already done this in the past! They know how to do it! It's either because they've bugged it like they do EVERY event or they felt they were too generous last year. Which it is, I have no idea. :-/
