So what's your opinion on Wraith's all seeing and silent bell addon?

Im not asking for a nerf I just wanna know what people think of these two addons. Do you think they should be changed. Why or why not? ( please be respectful)

I think when you compare All seeing with other wallhack addons the requirement seems too easy.

Silent bell can be strong, but its not really impossible to play around. Without it the wraith uncloaks next to the survivor and bodyblocks the next window/pallet instead of uncloaking out of line of sight. I personally think that coxcomb clapper is slightly too strong, basekit clapper is too weak and bone clapper is perfect.

Silent bell is good iri add on.

All seeing should be also iri and I would make range of it a bit shorter

Silent bell is a really cool Add On IMO.

All Seeing - Blood however... yeah i think that one could do with a bit of a nerf.

All Seeing - Spirit is great though.

I suppose it is widely regarded as busted. But then again, we have already dealt with "busted" things for years. What is one more?

I think his base power is good enough that some of his add ons could be toned down. The total silent bell I think is alright but the all seeing one I think should be changed.

Coxcombed Clapper is fine. It can largely be countered by paying attention and is only truly effective in certain types of areas, which is totally fine for an iridescent addon. All-Seeing: Blood probably needs to be looked at, as much as I love it; all similar addons come with massive drawbacks and are higher rarities besides. I'm fine with All-Seeing: Spirit; it's quite powerful, but not on the level of ASB.

I don't mind silent bell, I actually kinda like the silent bell because regular bell gets annoying. I think because so many use the silent bell in my game I'm pretty used to it.

Since his base kit speed increased the aura reading addons have become much rougher to go against.

Silent bell is fine. Not too oppressive, useful, and has an effect worthy of an ultra rare.

If we're talking about All-Seeing Blood, then it should probably get a downside. Like, slightly reduced cloaked movement speed, or Wraith's cloak is no longer invisible for survivors within its aura reading range.

All-Seeing Spirit though is fine for the same reasons silent bell is. Honestly, it's really slept on. You don't need a tracking perk with this add-on, as it is arguably the best tracking tool in the entire game.

I actually don't struggle against him when he uses his silent bell thing, blessed are the players that do.

I think he doesn't need his aura addon anymore, he can take his chances by swinging one way or another after uncloacking behind some wall.

I think that if people really want the aura info when playing as him then they should take up a perk slot for it.

I think he’s fine, people just need time to start learning and playing around it.

That being said, I’ve won against these ads-ons more than I’ve lost against them. Just my personal experience, but I understand those that have not acquired the time played can see it as a bit overwhelming.

All seeing should be nerfed, in my personal opinion. Reducing the range on the aura reading would be a decent way or maybe giving it an entirely different effect altogether. It was more balanced when he didn't have purple windstorm as basekit since an addon slot would have to be spent on it, meaning they couldn't have their cake and eat it - pardon the pun.

Silent bell is completely fine - It's an ultra-rare, it's strong and has a big impact as an UR should. Bone Clapper is arguably strong for a yellow but I wouldn't say it needs changing either.

Sure, use them, why not? They're there to be used.

I don't think they should be nerfed.

Silent Bell-->I am not sure on that one, but I think it is fine. It is an Iridescent Add On, after all, and his other Iridescent Add On is not that good.

All-Seeing-->Should be nerfed. Before the Buff, you basically only had one Add On-Slot, because you needed Windstorm. Now with Windstorm basically Basekit, it is like having 3 Add On-Slots. All-Seeing is too much with Wraiths current Kit.

I think it's fine, it's a purple and iri addon, it should be that strong.

  • Crypticghoul
    Crypticghoul Member Posts: 573

They were fine when uncloaking near you wasn't a free hit or instant pallet throw but now that he gets the speed boost + insane lunge + has Windstorm base kit (so he's not slow or anything for equipping both), it has become problematic imo.

Silent Bell can stay but All-seeing either needs a total rework or a bunch of downsides for equipping it because a passive Scratched Mirror without drawbacks is crazy.

I think they are perfectly fine. Maybe make All-Seeing iri? Thats as far as i would go. Both are not even his strongest add-ons in my opinion though. The faster vault speed and pallet breaking one + the uncloaking is stronger.

Coxcombed Clapper is fine, But All Seeing: Blood needs some sort of nerf or rework. All Seeing: Spirit is okay, though.

Bone Clapper should be green IMO.

I think Coxcombed Clapper is poowerful but at the same time it's iri. Plus you can do some cool plays with it, so believe it or not I've changed my thoughts on it.

All-Seeing Blood needs a rework. A nerf won't fix it, UNLESS it gives Wraith a downside. For example, what if it turns Wraith into his old self? Make his movement speed 126% while cloaked and slightly increase his speed while uncloaking. Would be pretty cool to play old Wraith again with wallhacks, yeah I'm weird don't question me.

What All Seeing needs is an entirely new effect.

  • Warcrafter4

I think both of them are rather overrated.

All seeing: as Wraith while having a stronger anti loop while invisible anyways the aura reveal makes something that's already good better but the same effect can usually be gotten with the perk "I'm all Ears".

Also Wraith has multiple perks and add-ons that help tracking so it isn't out of place like blight's reveal add-on. All seeing blood is just the best out of the batch. Aka WRAITH IS SUPPOSED TO FIND YOU!

Silent bell is mainly useful on people who don't pay attention...Which is most potatoes but holding that against the perk is rather irrelevant to how good it is as soot ghost can do the same thing against them as a brown add-on.

They are both good add-ons but I feel like they are highly overrated by the community.

All seeing add-ons should be swapped. Other that that I don't particularly care, I'm not a fan of Wraith.

Swap the all-seeings. Its strong but isnt that the point of ultra rares? Too many killers have trash iris or super situational ones. Its strong and worth the add on i just think it should be iri

I concur. Although, if silent bell stays, then it shouldn't work with the Ghost, imho.

Purple all seeing should become pink since it's much stronger. Other than that I think it's fine though it's also the only thing you ever see Wraith run nowadays.

Since they buffed him I haven't seen a single Wraith that hasn't used at least one of those two add-ons and to be fair when I play Wraith I also use one of those two most of the time so I can't really complain.

Both need to go, wraith is already easy enough to play, he doesn’t need wall hacks and even freer hits.

    Hannon Member Posts: 221

As someone that plays a lot of wraith (when I play killer)

they are veeeeeeery strong and need a nerf since the last wraith buffs

i haven’t lost a single time while using that add-ons on red ranks

if you use a hawkings map offering then it’s a 99% confirmed win

It should stay as it is. This should still be a little bit of a Horrorgame where you can get scarejumped. There are not much Killer that can pull THAT of. Leave it as it is.

Wraith received too much of a buff during his re-work, full stop. The add-ons only magnify the issue. Fix the over-tuning, and the add-on problem will likely solve itself.

    From my Wraith main perspective:

Silent Bell isn't that super-strong, it's only really effective if you can uncloak behind a high wall or something. In the open it's useless, survivors see the noticeable animation or hear the "burning" sound when you're close. I think the yellow Bone Clapper is even stronger, because survivors will hide in fear, leave gens and waste time if they hear you.

Purple All seeing is very strong, his best add-on. If you uncloak behind a wall and you can see where the survivor is heading after hearing your bell, it gives you so much advantage. I rarely use it because it doesn't feel like i outplayed the opponents, but the add-on did. But i equip it if i think i'm facing a very strong swf. It carries a lot of Wraith's right now i think (from what i've seen while playing survivor). A nerf or rework would be ok for me.

All-Seeing: Blood definitely needs to be changed. Before Wraith got Base Windstorm and a buff to his lunge, you had to sacrifice an add-on slot to have it. That was it's drawback. But now, there's no drawback so I think it needs changing to have some sort of drawback especially since aura reading is extremely powerful.

It's definitely strong, especially when combined with MYC and BBQ.

I'm a bit biased myself, because I enjoy Wraith as well. But I could be convinced all seeing is a bit OP when combined with certain combinations of perks and addons.

Silent bell, ghost and discordance can result in a lot of grabs. Much like old prayer beads

The All-Seeing add-on effects should be switched. It's kind of ridiculous how much better Blood is than Spirit while being way more common.

Silent Bell is worthy of being red (unlike 90% of ultra rares), and it's manageable to go against if you pay attention to his breathing.

  • lemonsway
    lemonsway Member Posts: 1,169

All Seeing is good but you're still up against SpineChill, individual Survivor skill, Map RNG and your sound and visual cues as Wraith so the best thing about All Seeing is Survivors won't know you have it for longer than if you use some other add-on. Silent Bell will work mostly on indoor maps, on outdoor Maps you will have to aproach the survivors without being seen before you make use of the Silent Bell add-on so if you're already doing that then what exactly did the Silent Bell do? You'd get the same result with the Bone Clapper, there'd be a sound but no discernable direction or range, so in fact you're getting more value cause you possibly scared someone else, the trade off is they know who the killer is already and what add-on you have. Silent Bell only works if they don't know you're coming.

All Seeing will help with Pallet Campers but Silent Bell won't help in most loops. When you cloack you cut the chase so a Survivor knows wether or not if you're going to try to hit them at a pallet and will know if you have Silent Bell or not so camping Pallets against Wraith is dumb but it's a mistake less skilled Survivors make cause they think Pallets equal guaranteed safety and when they guess wrong or don't react in time they think Wraith is strong when it's not true, camping Pallets just isn't smart unless you know the loop you're in and you know you can react to Wraith's uncloack Lunge by either having visibility in the loop, wich makes any and all add-ons useless or by guessing.

In short, All Seeing is good but you might not always be able to capitalize on that information and Silent Bell only works sometimes when you play it right. I'd rather use Swift Hunt or Bone Clapper over the Coxcombed Clapper

The all seeing blood should be needed. It’s basically a wallhack. It is totally BS. The fact that Blights compound21 got a nerf, but all seeing didn’t is just beyond. Like, what where they thinking. I guess they weren’t

The silent bell is ok. It is an ultra rare add on that changes up the game a bit which is fair.
