Does anyone run empathy on survivors?
I have empathy to purple on one of my main survivors and tbh it really helps me see what my teamates are doing while injured or where they are at. It even helps me locate where gens are located arounded the map when an injured survivor is on one. It may not be the most useful to some survivors but it really helps me during games to help my teamates and save them, even though sometimes while running empathy my teamates are such potato heads while im hooked i want to see at least somebody doing gens sometimes all 3 survivors are just running around doing nothing.

It's a very powerful information perk, but I typically only use it when I'm doing these stupid healing Rift challenges. I prefer Spine Chill if I am going to choose one information perk over all others.

Just for healing challenge.

It's one of the strongest perks for solo queue in my opinion.

I am using it for my Sabo Build. So i know where i have to go.

I was going to say that I run it when running a Sabo build or a super altruistic build - it's not part of my general perk pool though.

If I’m using my autodidact solidarity build it fits in nicely but otherwise I prefer bond

I do. sometimes i use Bond instead for information with any health state.
Empathy is whenever i feel like babysitting my team.

Yeah sometimes and it's good for knowing where teammates are being chased or going for saves but you'll also see them waste shack pallet and self-care in the corner + other painful things to watch

I always run it. You can usually tell who is being chased therefore wherenthenkiller is, where gens and where people are so long as they are injured

At max I use it when doing Challenges. But it is a solid Perk, however, I prefer Bond.
The Range is smaller and not map-wide like with Empathy, but it is enough to know what happens 36m around you AND it gives information regardless the Healthstate.

Yeah, now that open handed was buffed, I think Bond outshines empathy now. I know that’s 2 perk slots but I get a LOT of info from it, and can always find help even if everyone is in the healthy state (a drawback of empathy)

Same here. If I want to know where a Survivor will go down so I can be first to rescue, I'll run Empathy.

Only for challenges like healing or flashlight saves
But I generally prefer bond or kindred

Even without open handed bond is just more versatile

Stick Empathy alongside such perks as Botany Knowledge, Bite the Bullet, Autodidact, We'll Make It, and maybe a couple of others, you have a healing beast!!

I run it mostly if I'm doing a dedicated healer build, but I like the added benefit of knowing where the chase is happening and being able to monitor it.

I used to. My original main was Claudette. My favorite build for her was her three teachable perks and We'll Make It.

Bond is my go to info perk, gives so much info its insane

I always run it. Its very good.

It's my most used perk. I feel blind without it.

Want to to a awesome Lisa build?
Emphaty, We'll make it, Borrowed time and We gonna live forever.
My Lovely Lisa nurse build.

I prefer Bond but Empathy is good for healing builds or doing challenges.

This. I do kind of 'class' builds. Going specifically for healing others or unhooks with the most benefits. Chest plundering, stuff like that, so you use supportive perks and Empathy is definitely useful if you are trying to get heals on others.
I have noticed lately that I can hear the injured better as both survivor and killer. Not sure what changed but I didn't used to be very good at that.

empathy can counter knockout. Keep that also in mind.

I only run Empathy if I don't have Bond on the survivor I'm playing yet. Bond doesn't have quite the range, but it gives me a ton more information in exchange.

I actually prefer Empathy over Bond for my info perk. I don't use Empathy necessarily to go and heal my teammates, but I use it to keep track of an injured teammate running away from the killer.
