The soundtrack
Can we all agree that the game's soundtrack is honestly pretty freaking good?! I know some people hate the chase music blasting in their headphones while they chase survivors but for me it just really pumps me up, especially entity brain, that one specifically really makes my chase feel really good. For survivor the terror radius music is just really darn good too, just hearing that still sends shivers down my spine sometimes. Sure loops are annoying and stuff and it's been forever since I've feared a killer but the music is just amazing for me. In fact, I've listened to it so much in game that whenever I'm doing something that involves running, the chase music pops into my head, I had to chase my dog this one time because he had my shoes in his mouth and the chase music just popped into my head while I was chasing him and he was avoiding me (brought back some flashbacks, glad he didn't have a flashlight though lol), now that I think of it, is this healthy or have I just played this for too long? Anyone else feel this way?

Michael of course has the best music whether I'm playing him or running away from him, the music just fits the scenario so well no matter what your doing in game0

I feel like the "Near the Killer" soundtrack wouldn't work near as well without the heartbeat.
And i do think the soundtrack's pretty nice, but i also think such games might actually profit more from not having a soundtrack.
At least, i imagine it might be scarier to go from hearing nothing to suddenly SMACK, ARGH, KILLER, RUNNING!0 -

That's why horror moves normally have that creepy music in the background because they help create an ambiance to build up the tension before the scare
