Am I the only person with PS5 / XSX issues?
I see a lot of people on here saying that they’re having no issues on their PS5, but my game is an absolute mess. Before the RE chapter my console handled the game fine… I’m now experiencing
- Teleporting survivors
- Lag when hooking a survivor
- Scratch marks leading no where
- Massive frame rate drops
- Any killer I use their power causes lag
- Frame rate drops when playing as survivor
Just to recap prior to this DLC, the PS5 played like normal. Please tell me I’m not the only one and my PS5 is doomed…

I’m guessing all of your other multiplayer games are fine with no issues? What region are you in?

Oh wait a minute- make sure your console recognizes the upgraded version and not the PS4 version. Maybe updating this chapter confused it. Those sound like PS4 issues.

Nope, I play on console too, cant hit anyone, grab animation stops half way, hooks lag, I teleport every lunge attack, basic attacks lag and I miss everything. Chases are free dead hards for survivors, I get flashlighted by nobody. Doesnt matter the killer cause I have them all. I dont even play survivor cause there is no way to tell where the killer is, even running looking behind me they will lunge amd the next thing I know I have run into a tree and getting downed, yet the tree was 40 meters ahead. The game is totally unplayable in this form, its a waste of time, unless you dont care about ranking or winning, ever. Then the bp is good.

I've had problems with my ps5 every since Friday. Extremely horrible lag but I believe it's my internet causing this, not the game.
I made a post about it yesterday. Click on my name and check my discussions if you want to see the problems I had.

I am in fact playing on the Xbox, or at least I call it playing...lol

I've seen teleporting survivors, but I suspect that's on their end rather than mine.
No lag when hooking a survivor.
I've had points where scratchmarks just disappear, but it was just one survivor.
No noticeable frame rate drops.
No lag from using killer's powers.
Frame Rate is consistent when playing Survivor.
I play on PS5. It's been doing really well for me. Not sure what the cause might be.
