No. Because everyone dies, so it's not taking the game hostage.

okie doke i had this question for a long time thanks for answering it i didnt get any conclusive evidence because of salty survivors giving me misinfo

Nope, it is not bannable. Holding the game hostage would be a situation where the game cannot come to an end. Such as if you managed to trap all living survivors in a room with one doorway, then blocked the doorway. The game would go on indefinitely or until people dc out.
But it is rude to slug everyone to death.

What, like, bleeding everyone out and not hooking?
It's not holding the game hostage, but it's definitely griefing.

It's an ######### thing to do but to my knowledge, as long as you aren't picking them up and dropping them again (basically not allowing them to ever actually bleed out for like...twenty minutes), it's not reportable

No. Not against the rules.

How is that griefing? You still kill the survivor and no where in the game ruke it said you need to hook the survivor to kill them
2 -
Pretty sure it coukd be griefing though if they get a video showing you letting people bleed out on purpose.
Honestly its about the most ######### up thing a kilker can do

Stalling and waiting for 74 of the 75 second turn timer in Hearthstone every turn for literally no other reason than to waste your opponent's time and piss them off isn't specifically singled out in the rules and therefore can't possibly be abused to grief, I suppose.

I dont want to bleed peepl out i just want them to pick each other up and they do i dont think its a dick move or slows down the game any

i always let them leave my grasp if i 4 down and i let them win so sorry for any misunderstanding.

Fair play, if Survivors bleed out it's on the team for falling short in altruism.

If they are close to bleeding out i wont kill them anyway.

I faced a legion doing that the other day. It makes for a boring match usually but i was running head on and managed to anger the legion. He went from slugging everyone to camping my slugged body.
at least head on made that match fun, otherwise id probably die of boredom irl.

It's not bannable, but in most situations, especially when it's being done from the start of the match, it's considered a really priggish way to play. It isn't going to make a Killer any friends, anyway, for whatever that might be worth to them.

Yes and no. There are certain situations and certain actions the killer can take in which it is considered holding the game hostage, however I have no sympathy for griefers so I won't elaborate further.

If you're prolonging the bleed out (down survivor, pick up, drop until free, down again, repeat until they finally bleedout so instead of just 4 minutes it's like 15 minutes) that would be considered griefing and can be bannable - similar to the old mori spam being bannable because it would prolong bleedout.
Slugging all survivors where they'll bleedout in 4 minutes would not be bannable, it's just unfun and considered a jerk move.

Peepl look at the discussion and my comments i have told u how i play ree.

Holding just one survivor in a corner would be holding that survivors game hostage even if game will eventually end because other survivors complete gens and leave. Killer would be banned for griefing. Mods have confirmed this multiple times.

Depends on what you mean by slugging all game.
If you plan to hook everyone when they are all down then it's fine. That's just trading hooks for pressure and in some cases (looking at you keys) you have to do it to stand a chance
If you mean letting everybody bleed out when they are all down it could be conciddert as griefing if you do it in large quantities

I slug survivors for fun all the time for the full bleedout timer and I've done this since 2016 - You should be fine :)
Slugging just makes the game easier - Don't hate the player hate the game.
If you want to know why - Slugging is purely a psychological thing - Survivors get very altruistic when they believe they can save a survivor who hasn't been hooked yet and practically hand themselves over to the killer trying to make the save. This makes it excessively easy to slug everyone. Eventually I might hook everyone but they choose to crawl to the corners of the map trying to hide basically extending the game anyway because they don't want to dishonor their team by being found and sacrificed so they figure waste my time when I've already won.
Also if slugging wasn't desired they wouldn't have perks and addons dedicated to slugging.
