Cross Progression PC & PS5??

Hi Everyone! I had a few questions for you all...

I've been playing DBD on Steam/PC for about 4 years now, and I heard about "Cross Progression" for console and remember even taking surveys and answering questions BHVR posted about it before as well - so when I saw that PC players can play together with Console players I just assumed this was all finished and ready by now..

I've been waiting for a Sale on the Playstation Store to purchase DBD on my PS5 for quite some-time now because I always wanna show my girl the game and being able to play it for her on the TV would be really cool. (She's into Horror)

Finally! Today! I'm guessing due to the 5th Year Anniversary event, I saw that DBD was on Sale and purchased it for my PS5.. I'm really excited to get to show my girl the game!

However, in my 4 years of playing DBD - I have every single Teachable Perk / Killer / etc Unlocked and all my characters are ready to play the way I want them to on PC... I would like to be able to use them and play from the same "Account" on my PS5!

How do I do this? Is it possible? When I saw previously that Cross Progression was enabled, I thought that this is what it meant.. but I can't seem to figure it out, please help! <3

There's no way I'm going to take the time to farm the BP and spend all the extra money to unlock all the DLC's that I already own again... so if this isn't something that I can do, then unfortunately I'll probably never end up playing on the PS5 in the end and my purchase was completely wasted :( ... I really hope that it will be possible to do what I would like and was led to believe should be doable.


Thanks for the help - and one last question for you guys! Hypothetically, would it be possible to play together with my girl (if I manage to get her into it) with one of us on my PS5 and one of us on my PC?

I would imagine the only way to do that would be to not have the accounts linked - and I would rather prefer to have the account linked to share my progress equally between the two accounts because there is a good chance she will never even attempt to play DBD with me.. but I still would like to know if this is possible and how so?
