Why Trickster?
Im just curious why they buffed trickster instead of Trapper who really needs a buff. Yeah Trickster right now is trash but imo Trapper deserve some love. Two traps at the beginning and carry two traps basic. Thats not even a big buff. I mean if you dont get Survs with 8 knives, you are not that much better with 6 knives. Good killers dont need that buff. I dont want to insult people but Trapper needs buff. He is the Face of DbD .

The thing is maybe not many people got trickster so they did not make a lot of money out of him. So they decide to buff him so maybe they will do more money.
Of course all that is my speculation

Trickster = $
That's pretty much what it's all about.

They have a new(ish) workmethod where they look at a killer the second midchapter since their release
Trickster was underperforming and thus buffed
Next midchapter will probably have changes to nemesis
That's why it's trickster now.
As to why trapper isn't getting changed who knows. Probably isn't doing as bad as people think he is

And that answer is wrong!
The devs have communicated it MULTIPLE times, that they are going to review/adjust the more recent killers in mid-chapter patches. They have done so with Twins in the last mid-chapter patch, they doing it now with Trickster, and they will do so with Nemesis in the next mid-chapter patch after this one.
Of course they should give Trapper some love as well, no one in their right mind would deny that. But this trickster review/buff was planned right from his release, you could say. So it's got nothgin to do with Trickster being a killer to buy (which is also a silly argument, since you can get him with shards, so you do not have to pay a single cent).
