How does the killer hit you after you crack the killer in the head with pallet please explain that one to me, and please don’t try to defend dead by daylight they don’t deserve it. They need to do better at fixing their game, honest answers.

Its latency. On killer screen he managed to hit you before you dropped it.
Either way they are testing new pallet hit validation in PTB now so maybe next patch it will get better. Maybe

They changed the pallets in the ptb but i cbf to download it and wait for 5 hours to get a game.
We will see if they just made it survivor client sided or just told the server to roll back all hits so the survivors are protected. With what they said, i should win every pallet hit at 15 ping.

I wonder if this new pallet validation will also work for dead hard. It happens too often that I dead hard but still get hit. Maybe I am just doing it wrong, but maybe also so the latency issues are affecting it.

Part of it is latency and that can't be fix. At some point you need to learn the distance a killer will hit you before you can drop the pallet to protect you.
