the funny thing is all i did was paste his old eyes on and make them slightly larger. his new eyes are just unnaturally small for some reason

This is a good character change...Just not for David.
He looks to soft and not like a guy who has been repeatedly beaten at home/When he gets into bar fights.
Hard line on his old jaw just makes him look a lot tougher to me.

There seems to be a trend with the new models:
Hair looks better.
Faces look worse.

I think they could do much better with the mullet at least, plus he looks much younger in a way.

Original version. BHVR should've leaned harder into him being a Jon Berthan or Frank Grillo bruiser-type. The new version looks dopey. His face seems longer, from the front his jawline looks weaker, and as has been already pointed out his head is shaped like a potato.
Edit: I made this image to show what I mean.
His face is definitely longer, and his jaw is less defined.
I've also noticed that his eyebrows are too short. See how far back from the bridge of his nose they start? Very dopey looking.

It feels like they shrunk his eyes and gave him thin eyebrows.
This is where I feel like they tried too much to keep it as similar to his old face, but the end result was a worse version of the original.
At this point I would have rather them just use someone else’s reference with David’s characteristics:

Its not david anymore. He used to look rughtless, a tough guy. Now hes just a frightened dwight. Even kate looks more tough than him with her rework.

its alright, i just dont like how he looks very attractive now. its kind of my same problem with all the reworked models- they all look too good looking.

They nerfed his body. His absies are gone. Big disappointment

I've said it (many) times before and I'll say it again. He looks much worse. They made him look younger and butchered some of his head pieces. Some of his cosmetics are completely missing certain details from what I've seen such as his mullet scar and wrist wraps on some of his tank tops.

Btw, every side-by-side comparison like this, because of how our mind works, the character is always bound to look "weird" in our eyes.

Did the nerf his muscles for the hard headlights cosmetic? They seem hairier but less pronounced 😅
