Why did they remove the ability to switch killers when ready

I wanna play as one killer but level up my others while I wait in this ten minute queue but nah, they gotta remove something that literally nobody had problems with. Maybe the spaghetti code was jacking things up so they took it out.

They said it had something to do with the MMR system, but where is that at?

They're prepping for MMR. They wanted us to get used to it, before MMR strikes.

Yeah, so they screwed over the killers for MMR but didn't implement MMR so ... yay survivors win again?

Yea it’s been a bummer ever since this was implemented because if I see a Laurie in the lobby but I’m not Myers or a player named “mori me Ghostface” but I’m queued as Trapper It’s impossible to switch and have a little extra fun.

It also sucks if I'm playing a killer I don't have Franklin's unlocked for yet and the survivors have 2 keys, a rainbow map and a ranger's medkit.

Agreed. Those moments might have been rare, but they were fun, and I don't think it was worth to remove them in favor of a mechanic which probably is not going to work properly.

It's annoying because I can't level a certain Killer while wanting to play a different Killer while waiting. Queues take longer which means if I level someone I'd have to play this certain Killer.
