Lady Luck always seems to be throwing something good your way.

When retrieving an Item from a Chest, there is a chance an Add-on will be attached to it.

  • 100 % chance for an Add-on of Very Rare Rarity or lower.
  • 10/25/50 % chance for a second Add-on of Uncommon Rarity or lower.

Ace in the Hole allows you to keep any Add-ons your Item has equipped upon escaping.

    The nerf to items that made it so add-ons can't carry over has indirectly buffed this massively to the point I feel it can't be said it's terrible. It's one of the few perks that can help you in the next trial (assuming you escape with a good item) so I feel for that and the ability to item farm can't make it bad. It's a situational perk that's value and use depends on the item and add-ons of the survivor.

    It’s got a chance to give some good items with good add ons so it can be very good but it’s way too situational to call the perk better than just average.

    Bad Perk

    For me a bad perk. Its a decent farming perk indeed, but the fact that you can simply bring an item to the trial with addons you want diminish its use (plus i dont think items are curently too powerful)

    It's only good on chest builds. Don't destroy it though, it's a very fun perk.

    It could use buffs, like make it have a 50/75/100% chance of finding an uncommon or lower add-on.
