Which characters are the ones who can have the crown?

    All of the original characters.

    Anybody that isn't a licensed character

    Licensed characters are like Myers, Freddy, Ash, JIll, Leon, etc. basically anybody from other games/shows/movies. There's way more than what I listed but basically if you had to pay money/auric cells to get them and you couldn't get them with shards, then they most likely can't have a crown
