Why are MEG Survivors the most hated?
😭 coming from someone who mains Meg, Jill, and Kate. I would say im pretty decent in the game. Purple Rank - 8 (not that rank means anything) but i actually do gens and save my teamates and help out where is needed. In my experience usually the default megs are the worst, I have had most games with P3 megs that are decent. I can say most Megs usually act like claudettes and do nothing all game....I watched a twitch streamer where him and the other survivor (Meg) was the last two alive and she literally hid behind a rock the WHOLE GAME leaving him to go into second state on first hook and dying...well come to find out the useless meg found the Hatch and managed to escape. Most megs make the actually good Megs look bad to where nobody wants Meg in their lobby 😭 their are some actual good megs out there 🙋♀️ wink wink lmaoo and im a console player and have so many pc friends then console friends on DBD

She’s usually the first survivor people pick up (her or Claudette), so most of them typically aren’t great and screw their team over.

Because MOST (but not all) of them are reckless megheads that farm their teammates and don't really make smart plays. As a killer I love to see them but as a survivor I'd rather have other teammates

Honestly don't worry about it. Every base survivor has negative stereotypes to them. Claudettes self-care in the corner and Dwights are scared and hide in lockers all the time. Megs I guess are just too aggressive and get themselves killed constantly. Obviously at higher ranks these stereotypes typically aren't true and especially if you have interesting cosmetics people won't make those assumptions.

It's funny how the same stereotype woks different ways for the same survivors, the three are really stupid but Dwight hides lockers and claudettes on tall grass while Meg goes headfront.

I dunno, I feel like Claudettes are the most hated even though she is the best, most wonderful Queen. I’ve had killers tunnel and camp me just because I played her even though I never t-bag or play toxic in any way (unless they were toxic first). I would ask why they did so and their answer is because I’m Claudette.
When playing killer, I’ve never really had many toxic Megs to hate, the toxic ones are usually Yui, Yun-Jin Or Fen-poop.

Don't take it personally, she's a great character but the playerbase gives her a bad reputation, I don't know how many toxic teammates I got but I 100% sure at least 60% were claudettes.

I literally just had a Meg DC from a Legion Instadown. I think that sort of behaviour is why megheads get such a bad reputation.
Although I'm honestly starting to think there's an element of pro-Dwight sentiment involved, because I see way more terrible, terrible Dwight's but they get called cute instead of terrible.

I love to see amazing Meg users playing.
It's really breaking the stigma that everyone without exception is not good if they chooses to play with her.
I say, play with her as much as you want. do not let the opinions of others decide with what character to play.
Your skill is what matters and not how the character looks, right?

Because:
- Dwight is cute.
- He's the default character, so Dwights are like the babies of the community (unless they're bald, in which case they're old players who can run circles around any killer).
As for OP's question, nearly every single time I've been betrayed or watched one survivor betray another, it's been a Meg. Don't trust Megs.

Yea, I stopped taking anything in this game personally. It makes it much more enjoyable when I don’t care about everyone else’s motives. Nothing is going to stop me from playing Queen Claudette the Supreme.

I will dodge a lobby that has more than one Meg in it. In my experience most Megs are potatoes. They sandbag in chase, they farm team mates off hook, you have to lead them by the hand to a gen, and they will waste every pallet on the map.

megs i find sometimes are dumb as horses but are pretty cute.Hard to hate a Meg. high % of DCers though. Im never surprised when a Meg insta dcs to Legion.
I personally dislike the average Nea and Dwight.

Megs are either running around doing absolutely nothing or sandbagging their teammates.

Most of the times the toxic ones (when playing killer) are the nea ones. It makes it worse when they run that ugly skin with some sort of cape and gasmask.

Because Meg is noob survivor. Most Megs are noob. I was old Meg main and i was so noob. I was running corner of maps (so safe!).

she has good beginner's perks, but it also means people don't yet know how and when to use them well, which commonly backfires.

I've seen too many Megs run at the Killer, clicky-clicky with their flashlight, get hit within 5 seconds and DC.
Might be a stereotype, there are a lot of good Meg players, but it happens sooooo often... Shame really.

Not all Megs are bad at the game ofc, but from what I've seen, most Megs do some dumb #########.

It is probably because many people play Meg as their very first survivor, so they don't really know what they are doing and unintentionally become somewhat of a hindrance to the team.
Of course, after some time this stereotype loses its value, as there are good Meg mains out there.

I have nothing against Meg. But I've been betrayed by four of them since I started to play.
They let me reach second phase on hook because they were too busy doing a generator ten meters away from me.
Then the one on the opposite side of the map understands they have to come save me. A bit too late.

Most Megs I've come across are either noobs or extremely toxic to everybody.
Now I know that this doesn't mean all Megs are bad, but it's not going to stop me from groaning when I see one.

Same reason people hate feng, claudette, and bills. They're all generalized as pretty noob survivors. Especially when they're wearing default cosmetics.

Its just fun and jokes. She's often played with good beginner teachables, but other survivors are just as bad. On the other hand, the best survivors i've played againt were megs too. As the 2nd most played survivor, she's usually the "most" of anything, since you dont see claudettes.

I don't think Meg is the most hated, man. Claudette and Steve survivors are worse.
