Resident Evil Map is Actually Fun!
At first I hated it. But I like that it's different and unique. Can't wait to see what other cool maps BHVR makes!

Map is so good. I have only one problem on this map. As survivor finding gens are so hard.

I kind of like it though. It's just as hard for killer to find survivors as it is for survivors to find gens. I think it's a good balance.

I respect your opinion,but this map is the worst we ever got,gameplay wise.
It just doesn't fit for DbD kind of gameplay

Yes i agree and i have to say, Trapper is really so strong on this map. He can block coridors. I think best map for him right now.

It's hard for survivos to find gens and it's hard for killer to go to gens. There's absolutely no gen patrol.

Visually, its beautiful. In terms of gameplay and overall health of the game, its the worst map created thus far.

It definitely is different and unique, and it looks very good too. I somewhat feel bad for disliking it so intensely, because I know they really worked hard on it. But I just don't think it works well in practice, for either side.

I despise it but the more I play it the better it is to navigate. So beautiful but damn I hate playing on it.

I think RPD is one of the greatest Maps in DbD, on the other hand, i need a Map for this Map DbD is not the game for maps in this kind.
I mean we got Nemesis as Killer in this Chapter and his "Home-Map" has not one breakable wall?
Maybe its a license problem, i dont know, but this map need breakable walls.

I played custom games with my friends so that we could figure out gen locations and totems. Helped out a lot when I actually got the map at random while playing solo.

I love how accurate it is to RE2 and it is really fun!
But gameplay wise I will admit it is horrifying, terrible balance.
With this map, the priority was definitely looks over gameplay.

The map is so good you can actually prevent the killer from hooking you at all if you manage to get to the top floor of the library without the need of perk or body block.

One of the reason I like it. Sometimes the same bland maps of just spawning right next to a gen gets boring. I like the explorative fact. Wish more maps were like this.

I don't think it needs breakable walls there's plenty of ways to lose the killer without needing more things blocking the killer.

Idk I feel it can go either way. I mean without SWF it is confusing not knowing if killer is upstairs or not. With SWF it is a survivor sided map without a doubt.

This map is so confusing I finally figured to look at some map pictures and a youtube video. This pic and video help a lot.

Gonna have to disagree on this one, sadly. It looks really nice and the sound design and overall atmosphere is great, but it’s not that well balanced in my opinion. It’s huge, with no lines of sight, spread out gens, and it takes forever to get around it. It strongly favours “hold W” gameplay as well which sucks. And good luck getting to a hooked survivor before they hit struggle, particularly if the killer hangs around (which I can’t really blame them for doing considering the layout).
It’s like the worst faults of Midwich x1000. No exaggerating, every time I get this map, someone disconnects as soon as they see what it is. LOL.

I mean it's a nice change of pace of actually using the layout of the map to lose a killer instead of infinite loops and such.

Play the map three or four times and focus on learning the layout. You'll be fine. A little effort won't kill you.
