Hillbilly is actually strong in the Meta right now.
With old veteran players giving up on the DBD and newer players or players recently getting used to the idea of holding W. Billy is actually strong due to these reasons. I've been playing Billy and been maining him since his rework and noticed that the Red Rank survivors I'm facing keeps on insisting to hold W on him that a simple feather before a pallet will get them to greed ending in a chainsaw up their butt. The one who did hold W gets big fat chainsaw up their butt in the open. People try to spin me but a simple 99 solves that issue and half of the players I go against don't know what to do against a Billy because of how rare they are.. I am loving Billy and have farmed about 1 million BPs a day since the event.

Same way you deal with bubba.. drop the pallet after 1 or 2 loops

My build is Enduring and Spirit Fury, forgot to mention it every Spirit Fury Trigger = Chainsaw Down.
Edit: Also I don't even care if they drop pallets, They'll run out eventually.

He’s still strong but he is probably the most punishing killer in the game. 1 or 2 wrong moves and you’ve lost the match

Yeah Billy is really strong it's just that nobody plays him anymore which is sad.

People don't expect that on billy? Half the time they have bamboozle too. can't use your perk if i never let you get close enough to stun.

Then those newbies that recently joined in the recent months(plenty of time to reach red ranks) don't know how to play against him therefore making him strong.

One of my point is that new people who recently joined don't know how to play against Billy. They don't know what to expect if you get like 1 Billy Match in 2 months, with little experience these players won't know how to counter him therefore making him strong.

Survivors not knowing how to play against Billy doesn't make him very strong, it just means you get a lot of free wins, which is something that devs refuse to understand and they start getting defensive when people accuse them of having ruined Billy.

Billy is still really strong, he is just harder to master now. So instead of working to master him, people just switched to Wraith or Bubbles.

He's still good but the fun is out of him. Managing overheat, garbage add-ons, terrible fov animations, and hitting a branch three feet away.

I use this build on Billy too. I also use the add-ons that increase chainsaw charge speed after a pallet stun and the one that lets him go through pallets. That way, it doesn't matter when they drop the pallet.
If they drop the pallet early, I go through and get a hit. Also counts towards spirit fury.
If they drop the pallet on my head, it usually breaks and then I get a fast charge chainsaw while they try to run to the next pallet!
