Killer is unplayable on console
At the moment playing a lot of killers on console is impossible due to frame drops. I just picked up deathslinger and everytime I go to aim in the sight I get a small lag spike that causes me to miss my shot. This is the same with a lot of killers this really needs to be fixed soon.

I understand survivor has lag to (i main survivor) but I like to play killer and the lag for killer seems to have more consequences.

Main problem with killer atm is a lot of killers that require M2 and the movement of PC players just creates lag spikes such as when you are in a chase you hit freeze for 2 seconds.
you lost your target and have to find them and chase longer do that and bahm gen rushed.

It’s every killer, every map, every game.
I do fine, just play with crossplay off until it’s fixed. Survivors suffer from the ssame issues, iy just impacts their performance a bit less because 75% of their game is sitting still at a gen.
Games aren’t unwinnable, it’s just much more annoying to be on a survivors ass, FPS drops to nothing, now the survivor literally disappeared during the lag freeze. Challenging and annoying simultaneously

They will fix it only it's going to take two weeks. They are currently counting money from RE chapter 😀

What do you wanna bet their fix isn't even going to solve the issues on console? They'll only fix the problem by half or not even fix it at all. They said they fixed the "glitch" with the RE cosmetic sets being unlinkable, yet people quickly found a way around that.

Mate you can find a match with cross play off on Xbox nobody plays with cross play off :(

They can still get paired with you if they have cross-play on…? Not sure what you’re trying to say lol
It’s free choice, Im just giving the guy a tip. Just acknowledge that going VS PC or next-gen console opponents will give you a natural handicap.

Playing without cross play makes your queue times like 6x longer than usual its almost unplayable.

its impossible Mate to play with cross play off but the lag for survivor won’t cause you to lose the game. Since your not losing the game but literally nobody plays with cross play off so not an option man

When you turn off crossplay you only get matched with people that also have it off.

Not impossible on ps4. You wait a little but not much at least eu (before this mess).
Maybe it depends on time of the day but whenever I tried before I didn't had to wait much.

They'll fix console lag like they fixed the broken pallets during All Kill. I hope I'm wrong though.

It's not unique to killer, I hate to break it to you. Imagine skill checks as a survivor. Imagine vaulting a window and being stuck mid animation for three seconds. Imagine unhooking someone and being stuck in that animation for six seconds. Imagine running through a pallet and all of the sudden you teleport back six feet and you're facing a different direction. But yeah, killers are the only ones with problems on console.

I play both and the lag is less bad on survivor as a console player I play a day 1 Xbox one mind you.
most Common lag for me is just with skill checks or a sudden freeze for a second. Occasional rubber banding but never stuck mid animation.
but then again the lag has been worse for some people and depending on your console. Seems more like you having internet lag man

I think the lag is better for killers than it is for survivors. I don't know why killer mains think they're the only ones having issues. I die constantly because of it. I've had to switch out two perks I normally use that are pointless now. So don't play killers that are worse while this is happening. It's not that complicated.

I wouldn’t have that belief man missing that one hit or losing those seconds in a chase can throw your killer game man. (I’m a survivor main) but do have my killer experience losing that precious time due to a lag spike can cause 1-2 gens to be popped even with ruin and patrolling gens.

It's not unique to killer, true. But it is much more game changing and detrimental to killer.

Generally the only time where the console lag actually matters is when looping a Killer or preparing to Dead Hard. You can straight up run out of a loop during lag when trying to do optimal turning, get turned around as Survivor when moving, or Dead Hard in the wrong direction.
Other than that, Survivors don't suffer as much, making them much easier to grind Archives challenges with.

Nemesis is the one that makes it the worst in my opinion. Not sure if it is because of the bright blue effects, or the ai Zombies with all the additional chests... Idk, but man, playing him seriously is hard.

If nearly everyone is having the same problem, then it needs to be fixed, can't be an internet issue if literally almost everyone has the same problem. Every 20 seconds? FREEZE! Unhook someone? FREEZE! Vault a window? FREEZE! Get hit? FREEZE! Get a status effect? FREEZE!
And so on

Dear god it’s atrocious any killer with an M2 suffers from freezing to use their power. Or any M1s with a complex power like Nurse or Hag. I had to abandon my mains until the “fix” next week. At least now Ghostface has became my fourth since he’s simpler but still has bad performance
