Stop hogging all your cakes
Nows the perfect time to use cakes & bps, but now I'm rarely getting matches where even a single cake is being used. Isn't this game a big enough grind as is, why are you all being selfish & hoarding all your cakes? Have some empathy and think about how the other players feel when they don't get a 105% bp boost, absolutely heartless if you can't sympathize with them. And before anyone asks, yes I DO feel entitled to other people's cakes.
Comments
-
Because I need to save them for later when the grind goes back to painful
24 -
I'm saving mine for later when the grind becomes an unbearable stress.
3 -
It's worse to save them. After the event you'll only be getting 1 per match but during the event you can get up to 5. You should be stacking them not using them one at a time.
28 -
I am still using them occasionally but double bP for awhile after the event is nice

What's the difference between me using my cakes now or me using my cakes next month?
Other players are still going to receive a 105% boost whenever I play them, it's not like they are going to give less bloodpoint once the event ends..
11 -
No, sorry. I really love the butter cream frosting and strawberry filling and don’t want to share with anyone!
13 -
Because they won't stack. Would you rather 105% per game in a month or 525% every game for the next week? The extra points you'd earn stacking them will buy more cakes, people don't get that.
12 -
Not if we get a Bloodhunt.
2 -
How do you sleep at night after refusing to share?
3 -
No cakes, no mercy.
5 -
With a full belly and sweet dreams.
13 -
Who said they won't stack after the event? Are you one of those who believes BHVR is going to remove the "Stacks" part from the cakes after the event ends? Really? Why would they do that?
I still have cakes from the 3rd and 4th anniversary event that still stack to this day, using them now or using them in 3 weeks changes nothing
2 -
It stacks after the event but nobody uses them after the event because they're not being given out anymore.
1 -
Welp, if people are not going to use them AT ALL, that's a problem (and a stupid thing to do, cmon, people are going to keep 1 for collection's sake, but they're not going to sit on 80 cakes)
But still I see no difference between using them today or in 2 weeks 🤗
2 -
Well fed🤣
1 -
Especially you console players don't give me that lag spike and DC for no reason hoax😏
0 -
I use a cake every time (unless for some reason I don't have one but that hasn't been a problem since the first few days and even then I'd use BPS).
I can at least understand why last gen console/low end PC users aren't using them as their game seems to crash if you do anything but everyone else, I just don't really understand why not. I know I've heard people say that they're getting tunneled/camped but it's not like jerk killers tunnel/camping now would suddenly NOT tunnel/camp later if you use the cake in three months...

I would, but a lot of killers and teammates both (I'm solo queue) have been making my matches a nightmare lately, so I'd rather use them one at a time later on when I know I can get more than 8k a match.
3 -
you cant tell me what to do bruh
3 -
I’m saving mine for when the game is playable on my console again. About 2 weeks! Let’s hope the fix works.....
3 -
No!
>:(
2 -
No.
But you can have a bloody party streamer instead.
4 -
Exactly anyone who thinks saving them might actually be disappointed. What happens is everyone saves them and just uses them at random times throughout the year. So again you will see 1 per match. You maximize every match with 5 cakes during the event because everyone's using and getting them.
Now those on console your situation might be different. I can understand why console players would. But no offense console players I don't want your problems right now lol xD
All PC players... I would suggest turning off cross platform play so you only get PC players. SO if PC players are hoarding their cakes shame on them.

Because survs are dc-ing left and right & the game performance is still unstable and I get too many disconnects, because console.
1 -
People should use their cakes now for the sole reason that earning more bloodpoints right now allows you to buy more cakes. Earning more bloodpoints later doesn't generate cakes.
9 -
i kinda want to save them for a potential Bloodhunt event in the future though...
im still using them when i play Nemesis, cause he is the one im currently leveling, therefore i get the cakes back relatively easily

I use it every second game not each that way I will save a bit of them and I get to spend some
0 -
Collector's items, that's why.
0 -
No.
2 -
Whipped Frosting is the far superior frosting and I will die on this hill!!!
3 -
Are you saying cakes are a collector items? Okay so you keep your cakes to yourself and never use them and just look at them? I think you're mistaking collecting and being a hoarder lol xD Honestly sorry I can't take you seriously. Let me know when they're worth a lot of money someday 🤣😂😄😝😜

Nah I'll keep my 22 plus cakes to myself but you can have one of those brown satchel offerings I got plenty of those
1 -
They're a limited item. So. Yes.
I love collecting genuinely rare items in games I love to play.

The most convincing argument I've heard is that, if you use them now, you can get more cakes with the extra BP, and therefore increase the extra BP exponentially by stockpiling cakes. Otherwise, you're completely right. It doesn't matter if you get a 100% boost five times or a 500% boost one time -- it would be the same.
0 -
^ This. This is why I bother to burn my cakes right now. More BP => more cakes => more BP => more cakes...
2 -
You're like this old man I know. He accepts donations to this Parrot Rescue Organization that he works at and it's a non profit company. He does this to keep two African Greys there at the shelter. And he just likes the extra money. But the literal purpose of this Parrot Rescue is to rehome them away from the Rescue. He is literally defeating the purpose of what the company is supposed to be doing. It actually goes against the mission statement.
How does this pertain to you? You are hoarding something that is meant to be shared with other players. This also benefits you as not only are you helping others maximize their endless hunt for BP but your own.
And tell you what. You really like rare items that everyone and their mom has? Okay than just keep one for yourself and use the rest lol.

I would be more likely to use cakes if, almost invariably, we stopped getting camped and tunneled if more than 2 cakes are in play.
3 -
I get one cake per seven or eight bloodwebs on my P3 Nea. And I am not giving double BP to killers who camp, tunnel, and slug every game, no matter what. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
2 -
You're comparing me, a guy who likes to save rare items that won't return in a game, to a man who abuses/violates a company's policy?
Okay. Sure.
3 -
The sense of entitlement is strong with that one
0 -
I like having rare items in video games, but what the hell?
0 -
If gravel is considered a rare item... Sure you do you man.
What I am saying is you're Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory. Toys are meant to be played with. Not just sit on a shelf. But if you wanna try and be on pawn stars one day trying to sell your account with 1,000 cake offerings I'll make sure to watch that episode.
0 -
The entitlement is overwhelming. Listen, I'm ending this.
I've been playing the event every single day, three-five days I had normal matches.
Wanna know what I did for the rest?
Farmed. For the rest of the time I've been farming. I made sure to get survivors to have 28,000 minimum and escape with crowns.
I've been doing my part.
But, I also would like to save a ridiculous amounts of cake as a memento of a good time.
Don't come to me like I'm selfish.
Good day.
5 -
Bro relax. You compared him holding onto cakes to the literal abuse of a nonprofit. Touch some grass.
1 -
I'm not burning a single cake. This event has been an utter ######### show.
1 -
It doesnt make a difference if you get 105 or 525 a game because you can get that value just spread out over matches. I'd rather use the cakes when I want double bp than use them now when everyone is using cakes and I can get the bonus anyway without having to use mine.
Whether you get 525 from one game or 105 from several games, youll still get the same amount. And realistically youd actually be getting more by saving them since people will use theirs and you will get a bonus without having to use your own.
So I would rather get the bonus from others and potentially just the 1 cake than waste my cakes for 525 bp in one game.
0 -
Not a matter of entitlement. I think it's just a matter of agree to disagree. You think Anniversary cakes are "Rare" And you like have X Amount of them. Okay I personally think it's beyond pointless but its like I said... You do you.
0 -
Please reread your statements. You put on this impression that's "ha, you're dumb and selfish." Especially by comparing me to the man who's actually violating a company's POLICY.
"Are you saying cakes are a collector items? Okay so you keep your cakes to yourself and never use them and just look at them? I think you're mistaking collecting and being a hoarder lol xD Honestly sorry I can't take you seriously. Let me know when they're worth a lot of money someday 🤣😂😄😝😜"
And this direct quote from you.
1 -
So you'd rather hoard cakes, robbing other players of their 105% increase in bp, & use them after the event when nobody is going to use cakes? Consider how a wglf/bbq user might feel being robbed of more bp
0 -
Not to deter away from this, but I have never seen a survivor with WGLF during this whole event.
