Slenderman for Dead by Daylight
Before you hit the no!
Here is some reasons why I would love to have him.
- He was such a classic horror icon to read about that even all his lore was made by everyone on the internet based on one picture.
- There are so many concepts of Slenderman that prove that he could work very well in game like this
And his Theme music
- The Slender Arivial game he was in still holds up well in terms of horror even though game was made in 2013
- Iconic character from my childhood that I love being scared by in tons of fan games.
- The overall design is just eerie and creepy in general.
- No real lore and does seem like a creature of darkness so he could be related to the Entity in the ingame lore.
- Bhvr can have my money anything Slenderman related
- Has not been used in modern media for such a long time and deserves some attention once again even if its for a bit.
- Would add bit of classic horror feeling to the game like Slender's game in 2013 to 2016
- Slender could have different cosmetic sets based on past media and even a Corrupted Entity version.
- Would bring in lot of fans that were into the Creepypasta [Back when it was good]
- Could have a real forest map that's not the Red Forest
So those are some of my reasons. Just saddens me a bit that he has been mentioned quite a bit by the community but don't think devs acknowledge his existence even in the DBD survey.

His power just sounds boring. Another ranged killer with a weak seeming side effect. If Nemesis is B tier then this guy wouldnt make it far.
Additionally, all the perks seem weak. Hex: Lost Children only really helps if all survivors go to the same gate, and even then it doesnt warrant playing with 3 perks for most of the game.
The Eight Pages is probably his best perk, and even then that's not good, as if you're getting Bloodlust you're just committing too long to the chase. It sounds like it would work well with NoeD, but then you're practically only using 2 perks.
Finally, Something Awful sounds extremely weak. 12 seconds for most survivors and 20 seconds for the obsession is practically nothing, and suffers the same issue that poised does. It's just way too situational to make any use.
I'll never be opposed to a chapter if it's made well, but this doesnt sound fun.

Yeah that is true, I just pulled it up since neatest and cleanist chapter concept I can find and does seem fine on paper but need lot of tuning.
I would just think of a mix between Doctor and Spirit but a more balanced version and not the type to make the game unfun with no counters.
Grew up with Slenderman and got me into the horror genre but also would make game bit scary if done right.
Also pretty sure this one would just persuade camping lol.
Long story short just a fun blast from the past but Devs would make a better power since again just threw this one here because caught my eye.

They bought the rights to make the Slenderman film, I assume because they make those kind of grim films. The name of the company makes perfect sense for their work and wasn't really a coincidence.

Oh yeah I know was not a coincidence cause of the name but just bit ironic since the company name fits perfectly. Still, kinda wish they attempt to do another Slenderman movie but this time with Marble Hornets since they did a pretty good job staying true with the fan source.
Would be interesting to see a cinematic horror universe with Slenderman in it though ngl.

Ive actually never heard of Marble Hornets. I’ve looked into it a bit and it looks creepy and seems to stays true to the tales. I never watched the Slenderman movie because of the bad reviews and I did see a few clips but they were…. Silly…but I agree I think Slenderman is interesting and from slender arrival they’d already have a bunch of characters in the world.

Yes I'm serious, I think Slenderman can be a creative 3rd stalk-based killer that has high 1v4 potential. I can see something like a tentacle-based power and a teleportation ability. Plus Creepypasta has made me ######### myself as a wee child.

Yeah Marble Hornets is a really good series that does justice for Slenderman and The Sony movie is not......even good like you said.
Slender arrival still remains pretty scary to this day.
100% right, he can be an awesome top tier 1v4 killer if done right if he has his tentacle power and teleportation ability but also maybe something with his static effects and 8 pages.
Creepypasta back then was pretty good and scary but now it's not really, well ones I looked at are not scary but there are probably a few good ones that I gotta try and find. So why not bring the main man himself that has been giving everyone nightmares since 2009 to make Dead By Daylight truly scary.
