Green Ranks is the place to be apparently

I usually get to rank 3 and then I am pushed back to purple ranks at reset. I haven't been playing as much as I use to so this time I got pushed back to green... and so far all my matches have been amazing!? I'm shocked.

Maybe I am just getting lucky but everyone is so chill. Killers creating good flow with the game, no unnecessary tunneling or camping. Survivors are doing gens at a decent pace and I haven't seen any BM from my teammates. The end results are usually 1-2 dead and the rest escape but everyone was hooked at least twice. Oh, and everyone is bringing cake :D

I haven't had matches like these in a long time. Is Green Ranks the sweet spot for this game?

I'm having decent games in Green. Had one facecamp Bubba but, other than that, pretty chill.

It might be. For me I used to find purple ranks to be the best.

I find enjoyment in red ranks. Although the games up in red ranks can really vary based on teammates, but I find overall that my teammates are usually pretty good.

I enjoy the challenge of facing good killers, but it does suck when the skill difference is very lopsided.

Yeah, works for me. I'm usually around 10 and having a fine time. Sure, there are weird matches and you can predict what rank most killers are as the game progresses, but for the most part this is pretty much where I belong. I don't try to maximize gameplay but play for fun and take unnecessary risks when I think it's fun.

Idk. Green rank feels like pub stomper's paradise to me.

I kinda wish I can just not play with certain regions near me.

I don't mind playing against good survivors. It's just finding good survivors who just won't act like a scumbag in-game.

Other than that, yeah. Green ranks tend to be where the most "fun" matches you'll get comes from. Purely because you don't really play against people who want to see you sweat for just one hook.

I intentionally stay in green ranks as killer. The games are way more chill and I'm allowed to do things like switch targets, ignore players off the hook, and let players recoup instead of mass slugging them. It's a way more fun place to be. There's also less bully squads, death squads, and hackers here. Sure, maybe I'm not improving when I'm not slamming my face against hyper-skilled survivors every game, but I'm playing for fun, not to train for a tournament. And by all accounts, climbing the ladder is not what you want to do if you're in this game for fun.

Survivor's tougher, because I can't derank without screwing people over and I refuse to do that. But that's a big part of why I've grown so fond of killer and drifted away from survivor - because I got stuck in ranks where I get routinely trounced and rarely have fun in my games. I've been stuck in reds for months, but this RR, I got lucky enough to be rank 5 4 pips before the reset, and I've been having way more fun than usual games as a result. Definitely feels more appropriate to my skill level. Guess I'll enjoy it while it lasts...

Same here, it's like a normal game that you can actually enjoy at that point as killer. Amazing.

Green ranks for survivors yeah, as soon as you hit green ranks for killer you will play nothing but red rank survivors. On the other hand, green rank survivors get to enjoy relaxed games with killers below their skill level.

They were my home (10-12) until the reset bug and since then I chill around in yellow (15-17) and since.i don't try to kill anyone and just go for my 4 bbq stacks with 8hooks,.i don't really rank up coupled with playing this game once per week/2 weeks.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen bully squads in awhile since hitting green ranks. Once I get to 11 I usually switch back to survivor. But then those killers are either sweaty or really chill.

Yep, in green ranks you don't get thrown in with reds very often, and reds are the worst.

Green ranks does tend to be way more chill. Purple can be okay, but definitely see more sweaty playing.
