What is a good, fun and rewarding Killer to learn and master on console?!
Could anybody give me some advice? :)

Spirit probably meets all those criteria...for you.
I'll also say Plague.

Spirit seems like the best choice to me.

Doctor or huntress are both still really good on console

Nurse,Oni or Huntress would be a good pick.

Huntress

Nurse, Blight, Oni, & the Twins.

Plague , Demo or Pyramid head for fun rewarding killers.

I can't say what killer you will prefer but me on Xbox I have had most fun learning Nurse, Hag and Twins.

I found Hillbilly and his curving easier on console. The joystick inputs are consistent.

Oni and Huntress were incredibly fun to learn and are still enjoyable to play.
Plus they're strong enough to feel as though they can regularly reward you for using them well.

This.......but PIG is a better answer......😎

agreed brother

Oni, Huntress, Blight, honestly any killer that fits that criteria on pc, is even more satisfying to master on console.

Any killer besides Trickster. His recoil is horrible for controller.

Hey OP, it depends on your playing style.
I played every killer on PS4 so here's a good list
Crowd Control: Trapper, Clown, Freddy, Deathslinger, and Doctor
These killers reward you for out smarting your opponent, forcing them to waste time, or punish them by forcing them to engage with you.
Trapper: He's not a killer you can spam the power willy nilly and get away with it. It actually requires you to think of the game in a different way, Trapper is a strategic killer that rewards you for thinking about what you're doing and the potential outcomes that might follow suit. While any other killer sees two doors, mind game and approach. Trapper sees three, mind game, approach, and chaos.
Mind Game.
Mind game is self explanatory. Every killer has the ability to mind game a survivor into a situation that would be deadly, some do it better than others. Like using their power, a good example would be Ghost Face and Spirit. Other killers however have to use a bit more thought into trying to mind game a survivor, some moonwalk to hide the red stain & turn off Spine Chill, some play with their terror radius, and others use stealth to effect this. Trapper would have to hide his red stain a lot by moon walking around corners to get a cheeky hit in. But, it doesn't mean he doesn't have mind game potential tied into his power, he very much does. A survivor becomes very wary of the ground the moment they realize they're going against a Trapper, so when you're in a chase, you could purposely make very weird movement patterns to make it seem as if there's a trap. Survivors will pick up on this and avoid that, when really it's probably safe and you just made it harder for them to loop because you made them think they are unable to use sharp corners to their advantage.
Approach.
This is how you engage a survivor, some killers can rush to survivors is seconds and others can teleport. There's a few killers that can take their approach and use it as a weapon. In other words "Map Pressure." Trapper has map pressure, but it isn't going from point A to B in a heart beat, it's how to destroy a survivor's chase at escaping.
Lemme run you by a scenario I had. I'm on Haddonfield with two traps placed in front of each other down a fenced path, this is typically a bad move. It's a waste of a trap. I have two traps in front of each other when realistically I only needed the one to do the job. But, it worked in the end.
A survivor is working on a gen by the traps, they don't know there are traps by them, if I take the shortest path on the right, that happens to be near where the traps are I'd most likely spook the survivor away from my traps and waste valuable time. But, if I took the long path on the left, I probably lose a gen, but I might be able to secure a down.
So I went the long way, it took me a bit, but I managed to catch up to the survivor who was able 10% away from completing the gen, they run down the path I had trapped and snap. They stepped in the trap, but for fun I stared at them and watched them be free. They took a couple of steps and snap. I got them with the dumbest trap placement imaginable because I dictated on how I wanted to make my approach.
Chaos.
Or snowballing. Listen. A lot of killers can snowball effectively. But, I personally think this is where Trapper shines the most. See, unlike any other killer, Trapper can put a survivor out of the game without even line of sighting them from far away. The only other killers I can think of that can accomplish this goal is Huntress and Pig. Which is already a ridiculously short list of killers who can achieve this task. Being trapped prevents you from moving, if a survivor is so unlucky and they cannot be saved for some unknown reason, they CANNOT escape from Trapper. So far that's pretty nutty. Its like having deer stalker and looking for an injured survivor. Trapper forces survivors to make choices that can either lead to life or death.
OP, if you'd like. I can go over all the other killers like this if you'd like

I'd say Oni. Plague is also fun, and I found the Pig fun as well, she just isn't as much of a threat as other killers. If you want to play without even trying, possibly blindfolded, then I'd go with what other people are saying and choose Spirit.

Any killer that doesn't require aim assist because on controller it sucks
