Redhead's pinky finger
What are your thoughts on this addon?
Cause i feel its largely ignored due to how weak Clown is, if he was actually a viable killer i would consider this addon pretty op, not on par to Iri Head (pre nerf), but pretty close.

Most survivors hate it. But yeah like you said, it’s not seen often because Clown isn’t used often. This, and also most Clown’s just spam bottles and don’t get accurate hits.

Ye this addon is really annoying and rather unfair imo since atleast iri head requires some skill to hit but a Clown could spam with 6 bottles until he hits. I was suprised that they didnt change that addon tbh.

It's a bs add-on and needs a rework. It can be abused with the extra bottle add-ons, and even then it's still a braindead add-on. Both of his iri add-ons need reworks (Tattoo's Middle Finger just sucks), they can be really creative with reworking them too.

Its funny because i have faced clowns using this add-on and most of the time, they either lost or got barely 2 kills with it vs solo-queue survivors...
from facing its overrated add-on, perhaps even weak. reason being is that the instant down requires setup(you pre throw bottle than get direct hit on hindered survivor making it trash at loops) and it changes your mindset to conserve bottles only for instant downs and to never use your bottles for actual hindered ability.
if your losing to this add-on you need improve your looping skills on survivor in my opinion as the counter it is just... not being out of position and sticking to loops.

Fine addon tbh, it's an iri they're meant to be good, maybe remove 1 bottle or something

They should have changed this Add On when reworking Clown and I am really surprised they did not do it back then.
IMO not really different from Iri Head, getting direct Bottle Hits is pretty easy, especially if the Survivor is intoxicated before.

I was just as surprised as you. I had been very vocal about this add on for a long time, supporting the idea that this add on is way too strong. I’m still baffled why it wasn’t changed.

its annoying, but i dont mind it. there is far worse. at the end of the day, its still clown. I've lost to one pinky finger clown.
it just feels like a bubba backrev, really. i don't think its op, just feels bad to get one-shotted against any killer.

Not a huge fan of any instadown mechanic, to be honest. And even less so if it is tied to the constant spamming the Clown entails. They should have made it like Huntress' one, but it's not a huge deal. Most Clowns will just spam everything to land an instadown, requiring more time than that they would have needed to down normally.

If you hit a Survivor over a pallet with Iri Head, they go down.
If you hit a Survivor with a PF bottle as they drop it, you don't get anything.
That alone makes a huge difference.

I'd prefer to see more iri addons that aren't one shots or aura reading, they aren't that interesting and the former is usually pretty obnoxious. Trickster's new one is probably going to be miserable. Iri head is still unfun to go against, it's just also unfun to use as well now. Could they really not think of anything else?

It’s dumb and almost as bad as iri head since it has no downside. How it stayed the same is beyond me

I never really went for the addon. I'm not an accurate bottle thrower I just throw the bottles against objects to spread the gas type Clown player.

I mean, gotta take in mind, you have WAY more shots, you can severely slow down the target making landing the shot super easy and you dont need lockers to reload.
And this is with a WEAK Clown, just imagine if he was buffed to be a viable killer and this addon was still the way it is.

I really dislike Redhead's Pinky Finger. Because the only people that use that Add-On are those who can actually hit their bottles. It just feels so... I don't know. I feel so betrayed when I go against "That Clown"
Because my autistic brain can't accept the fact that a Basic Attack can instal-down you even when the killer doesn't use Dragons' Grip, Devour Hope, Haunted Ground, NOED, Iron Maiden, Make Your Choice, Rancor, Starstruck or if you're fully stalked by Evil Within or Night Shroud.
But overall. I guess Pinky Finger is fine. It just makes Clown more oppressive and unfun to face. But I don't think it's unbalanced or unhealthy. (Altho, my brain reacts the same way over Iridescent Photocard and Iridescent Coin as it reacts over Redhead's Pinky Finger.)

Idk for me it makes me play Clown different than I normally do which turns out bad. I prefer not to hit them with Bottles because throwing the gas at their feet/around them seems to hinder them more than direct hits. So switching to where I need to direct hit them causes me to lose the game most of the time. Not a fan of it and they are stockpiled on my clown.

I still wouldn't call it on par with Iri. Head. Though it's not even comparable with Iri. Head anymore since the nerf. It was comparable with old Iri Head, but that's gone.

Regardless this addon is honestly BS, considering it doesnt even have a downside, if Clown was buffed, this addons would be even worse.

I personally can't complain about it, probably because I never saw a good Clown use it, most of the Clowns are bad.
If a good Clown used it on me while I use my sort of counterplay against it and he still gets a lot of onehits on me, that'll maybe change my mind. But as for now I think it's alright. I personally don't use it but I don't see it as busted.

Considering that directly hitting someone with a bottle does not down them, I would say it is substantially worse than old Irihead. At best, the added hindered status might make Clown comparable to (possibly slightly better than) basekit Leatherface if the Clown chooses to get up-close for the direct hit.

It gets a pass because it's so hard to hit someone dead on with a bottle. The throw arc is just too weird to get it consistently. And if you know Clown has this add-on, you play against him like you normally do. Drop pallets early and break los.

Annoying, but you never see Clown to begin with, so it doesn't matter.
