Console performance fix when?

Starting to get a bit tired of the console framerate tanking and make me miss several hits when:

-several survivors run frantically around on screen
-fog offerings used
-bloodlust triggering
-too many traps set off


I know when I miss a hit and mess up, I'll own that I make plenty of mistakes....but when I have 2 Claudettes hugging walls and my trigger activated and I zoom forward from the speed boost and the framerate just dies and "whoops" I missed. Gets a little old :/.

Has there been concrete word that the developers will actually fix this?

    ######### Christ...just played on Yamakoa Estate as Hag and not only was it beyond infuriating to watch thia game play on about 5-10 frames...but I can't count on both hands how many times I go to slap a Gen and the prompt goes away and I have to move back and forth to get it to appear again....

    Just when I was back to playing and having a fun time.....Either this update made it worse and more frequent, esp on certain maps or I've somehow been lucky till now...

    I'm on PS4 and Yamakoa amd Father's todsy were utter crapfests on performance.....operformance.....other maps were fine...but it's so damn inconsistent

    What platform do you play on? I'm on Xbox One X and the game is so amazingly smooth now. I actually had to go back to the store because I thought the game was Xbox One X enhanced. It used to lag on menus when I'd select other characters or switch between Killer and Survivor. No more! It's never been smoother.

    I'm not the best player, casual but it's unnerving when I know I was going to end a chase soon enough to then completely potato...when Gen Rushing hits hard and that happens...just kinda sucks the life outta the sport if it all.  And I willingly admit I have just plain bad games with 0-2k results all on my part....but when I get two games of domianting as Leatherface on different maps with zero issues, to then playing Hag (whom is currently my back pocket Killer) just have the roughest time....

    I just want smooth gameplay, there are MUCH bigger games that run with little to no issues....Im just at a loss and kinda depressed after being so excited to be back after a break...

    The frame rate is even worse on PS4 after the patch, I'm pretty sure. 

    We desperately need this optimisation patch.

    Do you have a video to demostrate how it is. I'm on Xbox One X and it runs and feels great! I don't think frames are not capped to 30 anymore? Very responsive now. It also looks now a little bit better.

    Sadly I only ever experience poor FPS as Killer... I had one experience where, after being unhooked, spurts of blood were continuously coming out of my poor Jeff, and it caused the frame rate to drop tremendously, perhaps to as low as 10fps. I main survivor nowadays simply because the experience is more smooth. I fear ever buying the kimono for the Spirit (my favourite killer) in case the sleeves of the kimono cause a frame drop when I play as her. Oddly though I experience slower FPS when playing as killers such as the Legion and the Huntress.
